About ‘Her’ and Me
About Her:
‘Her Name Was Grace’ is a collection of writings that I’ve stored away from various experiences. Because most of these writings tell [indirectly] about occurences from my own life, some are struggles, some are celebrations, some are vents, some are cries for help, and on it goes… Just as our own lives have seasons, so does this blog.
And, I’m sure you’re wondering about the name of the blog. Well, the name comes not from an actual person named Grace, but from a theme of my life. Throughout my 24 years, I’ve been given great opportunities and help along my way. Whether it be in life or career, during life-defining or just for fun moments, I wouldn’t be here without so many others. Although I may not be a graceful person, grace has been prevalent in my life. And ‘she’ is my inspiration for writing this blog.
About Me:
Face-to-face, I’m just Ben. But online, I’ve stuck to NashvilleBen. I think it establishes an important bit about me… born, raised, and still living in Music City. Most people I meet say that I’m one of the few born here and still living here nearly 25 years later, but I can name a few others in the same fellowship also. Nashville is a good place. I love the people and the places within this town, and I like to think I’m one of the city’s biggest fans. But I don’t think it’s the only good place. There are many, and I hope life lets me learn about at least a few more before my grace is up.

Ben – thank you for stopping by my blog today! I instantly related to the story that you are writing yourself and the meanings of your heart. I will add you to my blogroll and stay connected. Light,
Helen
I’m liking what I’m reading so far! Good views!
Ps. I need to do one of these “About Me” posts so I can link to it like most people have…
what a beautiful blog title with a great meaning! i really love it! 🙂
Ben,
this is indeed a wonderful blog, a good find – and I have been getting a bit discouraged about 20sb! Thank you for being honest and insightful.
Irina
I love the concept behind your blog, Ben. I’ve been given some really amazing opportunities throughout my life and have been forgiven or more mistakes than I care to remember. I know that, without grace, I would have nothing. If I’m not willing to extend that grace, then I will have nothing.
What a beautiful, thoughtful blog you have. I’ve enjoyed reading it, and especially loved your post on holding on to your dreams. I especially needed to read that today, after taking a proverbial beating from someone who doesn’t share the same dream…
Congratulations on being featured on 20SB, too.

Wow, Ben. Love your blog!
You’ve taught me more since I’ve known you than you’ll ever realize. You’re a treasure.
