Her MALDITA-ness

I can’t believe it’s already the last blog post of the 30-Day Blog Challenge. And, it’s also the last day of 2013 already. I’m feeling nostalgic about all this and at the same time, I can’t remember all things that happened to me this month.

Hmm…maybe this will just be a very brief report then.

First two weeks: I was busy with the things at work and on my sideline. Always awake from evening till early morning. Asleep during afternoons. Nothing but work.

December 14: My son’s Christmas Party.

December 15: Too tired and not feeling well.

December 17: Fever

December 18: Lost my voice

December 20: Recovered my voice. General rehearsal for the music recital

December 21: Music Recital. Stressed. Missed reunion. 😦

December 22: Sick again

December 23: Had to go out for last-minute shopping even if not feeling well

December 24: Almost fainted after cooking spaghetti. Migraine attack. Got a burn on my right wrist for touching the big pan due to migraine.

December 25: Feeling better. Went to Dad’s with Raj. So glad Dad loves my gift.

December 26 to present: Suffering from colds and coughs. *sighs*

I miss hanging-out in coffee shops with friends…

I miss Figaro, Subspace and Starbucks…

Early this year, I was faced with what I consider the year’s worst news ever. I’m losing my job in just eight days.

What a ‘pleasant’ surprise for the start of the year. My project got dissolved and in just a matter of days, I’ll be joining the population of bums and jobless.

That night when I received the notice, I went home crying and stayed awake applying for a new job online. I was desperate. I can’t afford to be unemployed. I’m raising my son on my own and without a source of income, how will me and my son live? So I applied in all kinds of job where my skills seem fit.

The following day, I got a call from a BPO company and interviewed me for the position I applied for. The lady who talked to me said I passed the initial screening and advised me to take the exam in their office. A few hours after that, I received another news.

The company is willing to transfer me to another department. I just have to pass the interview that same day.

And then, the rest is history. I got transferred to another department.

God is really good. When one door closes, He makes sure that he opens another one or even a window. 🙂

That’s why hold on tight. No problem is greater than God.
