I think he would find that not everyone looks the other way when it comes to posting racist/homophobic/whatever stuff. He got away with it at Vox because the powers that be saw it as “freedom of speech”(which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.).

Their unwillingness to deal with that problem, and with the constant spamming, is why they went bye bye. Well, that and I think Vox was never a high priority for 6 Apart anyways.Maybe they could have started making it a paid subscription, but then I probably would have gone elsewhere.

Quit. Most people sit around thinking they have to worry about lung cancer. What you really should worry about is that every day your energy, your mood, your creativity is being destroyed by those noxious sticks. Just give them up. Take up jogging and cut down on sugar – I guarantee you'll feel ten to fifteen years younger.
The fastest way to quit is to stop buying them. It takes hardly any effort to take one out of a pack, it takes much more effort to get in the car, drive to a store and buy a pack. Just stop buying the things. I quit over 8 years ago and my life took a huge change for the better.
