I like the sunshine. I like the rain. I like running around and laughing maniacally.

And, I start way too many sentences with “and.” Just warning you.

Okay, I should be a bit more serious. I started this with the intention of writing something every day. Sometimes it’s bumpy and sometimes there are periods where I feel as if I’m only churning out mediocre work. However, I’m trying to stick through this, not as disrespect to the craft, but as a way to ground myself. Regular writing has been wonderful in tying me down amid the hubbub of life. Maybe I’ll take a breather at some point to freshen up my stale words, but until then, I’ll keep writing two dribbles, poems, whatever they may be, a day.
