https://headingleft.com/2008/02/20/framing-john-mccain/
Wed, 20 Feb 2008 05:42:27 +0000https://headingleft.com/?p=9Don’t miss this week’s Framework! Today’s topic is John McCain, and what memes Democrats can and should be using to help show John McCain for the hotheaded non-maverick joined at the hip to George W. Bush that he really is.
Step away from the Democratic Primary wars for a little mano a mano action with the presumptive Republican nominee!
]]>Three Congressional Candidates for the price of one….
https://headingleft.com/2008/02/16/three-congressional-candidates-for-the-price-of-one/
Sat, 16 Feb 2008 05:44:29 +0000https://headingleft.com/?p=11Over the past week, we have continued our series of interviews with progressive Democratic Congressional candidates. While you can look for these on a regular basis from now through Election Day, we are proud to have interviewed three very solid progressives.
First, we spoke with Dennis Shulman, candidate for the Democratic nomination in my home district (New Jersey-5) against the odious Scott Garrett. You can read about Dennis by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).
We also had the pleasure of interviewing (for the third time) Barry Welsh, candidate for Congress in Indiana’s 6th District. Barry is a helluva guy, and a long time Daily Kos community member, and is running against Mike Pence, the man who took that infamous Baghdad market stroll with John McCain and declared Baghdad as safe as Indiana. You can read about Barry by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).
And last but certainly not least, we had Lt. Col. (retired) Air Force and Democratic Candidate for California’s 4th District Charlie Brown . Charlie just missed beating the corrupt John Doolittle in 2006 despite a late entry and massive underfunding, and he is poised to win the seat outright this November. You can read about Charlie by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).

Sat, 02 Feb 2008 05:50:06 +0000https://headingleft.com/?p=15Today (Saturday February 2) had not one but two shows that had guests associated with Congress. On Blue Jersey Radio, Congressman Frank Pallone stumps for Senator Hillary Clinton in her run for the Democratic Presidential nomination with hosts Jay Lassiter and Jeff Gardner.
Also, Adam Lambert (clammyc) and David Atkins (thereisnospoon) from ePluribus Radio and Heading Left hosted Gilda Reed, Democratic Congressional candidate for Louisiana’s First District. Hear Gilda talk about her district, her thoughts on No Child Left Behind, issues that are important to people in her district as well as other things that she would like to accomplish if elected to Congress.

Superdupercallifragialisticexpialladocious Tuesday. So what happened, anyway, and what does it all mean?
The lay of the land: where do you the campaigns go from here?
Can anything stop McCain? Will he pick Huckabee as a running mate? And does this mean realignment for the Republican Party?
Tornadoes kill over 50 people. Tornadoes….in February?
The link to this week’s show is here.

Wed, 30 Jan 2008 05:52:39 +0000https://headingleft.com/?p=17I’ll start by saying that the folks over at I Got My Reasons are pretty damn funny. I’ll also say that if you are offended easily then you probably won’t enjoy their show.
But if you have a good sense of humor and want to check out some funny but raunchy stuff, take a listen by clicking the link above or the player below:

]]>Check out LiberalPro, Tim Gatto
https://headingleft.com/2007/12/08/check-out-liberalpro-tim-gatto/
Sat, 08 Dec 2007 06:07:34 +0000https://headingleft.com/?p=32In keeping with our attempts to find and promote more of our own progressive hosts, I came across Liberal Pro Tim Gatto’s show.
Tim also posts at his blog Liberal Pro, and contributes at OpEdNews as well as The Smirking Chimp. He is also retired from the US Army, which to some would make him just another troop hating terrorist lover who knows less about the military than such luminaries like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (and the 101st Fighting Keyboardists).
LiberalPro’s show can be found by clicking either of the links below, and he is broadcast multiple days each week.
