Sample Home for Dunnville Project

Habitat for Humanity is a people-to-people partnership drawing families and communities together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing for families in need.

Homeowners contribute 500 hours of  “sweat equity” to the construction of their new home, and then repay a long-term, no interest mortgage.

Mortgage costs are kept low by the use of volunteer labour and by the donation of funds and building materials.

Habitat for Humanity Hamilton – Dunnville Project is the Adopt-a-Home Project of an International, non-profit, non-government organization that makes affordable home ownership a reality for low income families.

OUR PLAN is to provide a selected local partner-family a “Hand-Up” and an opportunity at home ownership.

OUR GOAL is to invite community volunteers to work in partnership and generosity while offering all who take part an opportunity to give back to our community in a meaningful and tangible way.

OUR HOPE is that YOU will make a contribution to our effort in support of this community building process.
