Hello Friends,

Around this time last year (Oct 2024) I spent 3 weeks in South East Asia and this is another post about some of the temples I visited. It’s taking me a while to get around to all of them due to my essay-writing in between. Also, I haven’t travelled this year considering that I’ve only been in Cape Town since last November, so last year’s trip is still very much with me.

This post is about two sites in Central Java near Surakharta (a.k.a. Solo). Turtle symbolism is present at both of these sites providing evidence of how ancient cultures in different continents had the same symbolic language and understanding of the cosmos.

Photo (above) symbolism: Humans seek to escape the darkness of the world; they seek to escape their own darkness; they look to God for help; they aspire to be more like God; they strive to transcend their own darkness; they yearn to evolve beyond the duality of darkness and light.

Essay Excerpt: World events are testing individuals spiritually and morally during a time when inner structures are at a low, and the veil is lifting in the external world. In the process, souls purified within the crucible of transition are navigating out of the darkness of the underworld into the light of the upper world, where they are laying new foundations on solid ground.

Beyond Apocalypse (Part 1) – Mimetic Rivalry in the Tower of Babel

Hello Friends,

The first chapter in a new series is now available for reading. In a nutshell, the spiritual aspects are encapsulated in the excerpts above, while the rest of the essay follows on from The Crossroads series.

It’s quite a long read that covers geopolitics in the context of the cycles and the Great Transition. For the moment it will only be available on the project’s site: EnergyShifts.net (later it will become available on GypsyCafe.org as well).
