Strawberry Alarmclock lp UK Mono original New in!
New @Grey Antwerp one of the cooler US psych exploito lp's from 1967 in gorgeous UK Mono. Off course 'Incense and peppermints' turned out to be a number one smash Bollboard hit. I heard a crazy story bout the recording. It seems the lead singer is not singing the tune but a guy working in the studio who happened to be around. They liked his voice better for this particular song. Nobody had an idea this was going to be a colossal hit. Very cool.

The Dutch team 2002 making a Turkish Rockumentary
Here we have Marcel Siegmund, me Marthy Coumans and Rob Vermijs, the Dutch team that went to Turkye in 2002 to shoot a documentary on Turkish rock roots following the succes of Grey Past's 'Turkish Delights' comp. Ferhat Portokal, after 22 years, finally is making a documentay of this shelved footage. Will me amazing and cool! Watch out for this docu!

After a week of diggin', together with my friend Gokhan Aya in Istanbul and Ankara, wednesday 27 november the result of the trip will be loaded for those interested into our store in Antwerp. Korte Nieuwstraat 6. Its an amazing bunch I tell you. Turkish Anadolu Rock, female funkdisco, grooves, Iranian killer 45's, pile of ancient soul and Northern Soul and more. Also a pile of amazing cool LP's. From funky instro and electro to Anadolu rock. Store opens 12.00. See ya!

Gokhan and me met first somewhere end of the 90s in Meral Altindal's recordstore near Taxim, Istanbul. As we shared and share a delicate passion for rare and unknown music it was the beginning of a long friendship lasting till now. Above that we together arranged two massive pionering comps that were part of opening the world of amazing third world rarities. 'Turkish Delights' and 'raks Raks Raks'. In those days almost nobody was interested but it was going to change fast.
