Sometimes you will get Lefties who will say that they are only against Trump, or some other politician. Don’t believe them. They are freakin’ lying.
They will oppose any candidate that is not from the Left. It makes no difference at all if it is Trump, or Bob Dole. They are all “Hitler” to them. And if you vote for anyone who is not the most extreme Lefty candidate out there, it is, for them, proof that you are a total dirtbag.
And since that is a case, there’s no reason not to vote for the most extreme Conservative you can possibly find. Because there is no satisfying the Left. No matter what you do, you can never be a reasonable and rational opponent. There simply is no reasoned opposition. You are either part of the cult, or you are a heretic…

Deadlines came and went quieter than a mime convention. There wasn’t a press conference with Gore saying, “Oops! My bad; turns out the models were a little more enthusiastic than I thought.” Just new deadlines, fresh urgency, yet using the same PowerPoint.
… There was one funny thing: as the catastrophes failed to show up, Gore’s personal forecast looked downright sunny. Speaking gigs paid better than ever; he co-founded Generation Investment Management because nothing says “save the planet” like turning manufactured climate panic into a hedge-fund portfolio.
Like ALL con men, Gore was in this for the money. I mean, it’s pretty durn obvious, isn’t it? And he IS a con man! But we have ALL grown weary of his scammy antics.
Most people aren’t against clean air or sensible conservation; they’re against the guy who keeps screaming, “The sky is falling! The sky is falling!” every Tuesday while quietly cashing the apocalypse checks. When each season is branded an emergency, urgency becomes background noise, while real problems get lost in the realm of Gore’s theater.
The only thing the seas have washed away is Al Gore’s credibility! ANYONE who still buys his bull crap is a chump and a willing dupe.
