It was good to tag on a walk to a shopping trip but, although it’s a good resource for locals, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again.

Calderdale has become a favourite place which is easily accessible for me by Public transport

I will probably head over that way for a saunter along the canal but wouldn’t particularly go out of my way to visit the Water Park. I can understand why it’s popular for locals, but I’ve better choices nearer to home.

I though you needed to be a hippy to move there 😂😉. Seriously though, despite being on the wrong side of the Pennines it would be a good place to live with good communications. I think HB is expensive but Tod is up and coming.

And I fully agree with your observation regarding her personality. Also backed up by a former colleague who, at one time, lived nearby Jackie when Carol Anne Duffy was her partner. So I have a few second hand stories about the pair!
