I watched Goddard & Gorin’s Letter to Jane the other night. Was too tired to fully enjoy it but I did like this quote:
Photograph can cover up just as much as it reveals. The photograph imposes silence as it speaks.
Equivalents, of a sort

Overheard morning question in front of K’s kindergarten: “Daddy, why did the president make things so that daddies have to go to work?”
The few of us adults that were passing by the little morning philosopher could not help but smile. It was, as they say around here, a “sour smile”.

A melancholic pic for a melancholic, rainy day. This semester, Fridays are also my administration day and the rainy grey makes a perfect backdrop for writing reports, applications and emails.
