Kind Stranger at the Soda Fountain

Daily writing prompt
Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.

I was getting a Pepsi (my favorite choice on a soda fountain) when I heard a very kind voice giggle. I turned to see and she had overfilled her cup, I think. I don’t remember that part very well because she was so sweet and kind and was telling me about it being too early on a Monday morning and I was like, “Yes! Absolutely!” She had said something else but I don’t remember, but I do remember her telling me to have a great day.

If I wasn’t such a shy person, I would have introduced myself and maybe have made a new friend. However, I’m not the outgoing extrovert I kind of wish I was. Instead, I’m an extreme introvert, but I feel like God would rather I be that way. He did make me, as a matter of fact. I just wish I would meet someone like that everyday! This world would be so much better.

My Fun Ways to Exercise

Daily writing prompt
What’s the most fun way to exercise?

I’m not sure if I have to pick just one way for this answer because I instantly thought of two fun ways to exercise. One is walking on a nice warm (not hot) and pretty day either with someone, or with your favorite music. Being outside when it is nice and possibly with a cool breeze gets me in a good mood and motivates me to keep going. When I’m walking by myself the music I listen too ups my mood and motivates me to keep walking. Then of course having someone walking with me to talk to keeps me going, as well.

My second most fun way to exercise is to do some aerobic dancing to my favorite music. I want to stress more on dancing than aerobics so that it doesn’t feel like exercising. Doing this with or without someone does not matter. In fact, dancing alone is sometimes better so you don’t feel being watched. Aerobic dancing can be found on so many videos online for free and most steps are very easy to learn. Overall having friends with you or music will be most needed to make these exercises fun!

I’m Back….Maybe I’ll Have More Time To Write….I Hope

So sorry to everyone! …At least to those who actually read my posts…LOL just kidding.

I help with another blog, I help watch my precious grandson full time, I try to clean, try to keep my table decluttered (which I do my writing/blogging on and right now it looks awful…so I’m a bit overwhelmed but I’m okay. I’m okay because I’ve got a great family, awesome friends, and hopefully fantastic readers! Most of all I have my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to help me.

I am still getting used to using WordPress too. All these different settings and it’s not like I’m tech stupid. I think I’m pretty good at computer use but sometimes I’m like, huh?

Overall, I think I have a pretty good start on this blog and maybe eventually I’ll be able to make money somehow but right now I’m not worried about it.

Thanks everyone!

God Is Real

Sorry it’s been a few days but here is my second blog finally. I started to title this blog Proof of God but I didn’t feel right wording it that way. It kind of made me feel bad like I was doubting the realness of Him, when in fact He is real.

I can make very valid arguments for the existence of God such as, for one, everything has a cause. Everything that comes into existence is caused by something else. All the stars, galaxies, and planets are in the perfect spot where they need to be. The design of the galaxy is so amazing and perfect that a highly intelligent being had to create it. That was God.

There are more very valid arguments and even many books that argues the existence of God. Now I’ve only read one or two books on this topic so some could argue that several of these books are awful and do not give valid reasons for God’s existence. However, I do not need to hear these arguments, nor do I need to read any of these books and I do not even need to hear the best pastors in the world explain to me how God is real. You know why?

… Because I know He is real. I feel Him in my heart. I see Him in my grandson’s eyes. I sense Him when I hear my favorite gospel hymns. I hear Him when I pray and read my Bible. Just look around you. Read your Bible and pray. I am not even going to use scripture to back this up. Trust me… He’s there.

Why Not?

I know…I know. You’re thinking why not what? I’ll get there. I promise. First of all I want to say that I am kinda new to blogging and WordPress so please bear with me.

Now back to my question. The main purpose/goal of my blog is to bring people to Jesus Christ as well as to brighten someone’s day. I may not receive many followers for this either. This question is mainly for non-belivers and/or doubters. I’ve read that atheists just believe that they cease to exist when they die and most seem okay with that but that sounds kind of scary to me. I would rather believe I am going somewhere wonderful and I truly believe that whoever doesn’t follow Christ, or doesn’t believe He died for our sins and rose from the grave, he/she will unfortunately go to he*l. I don’t even like to type that out or think about it because it hurts me to think of anyone, especially family or friends that are not saved. Bible scripture that explains this well is…

John 3:16-18

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Therefore, if we believe the Bible, and we MUST because it is the word of God, then we must believe in and follow Jesus to go to heaven and have that everlasting life. I’m sure I may have a little bit of disagreement on this which is okay. However, my point is you can either believe that you will totally cease to exist into nothingness just to find out you will burn in he*l forever or you can believe in the amazingness of God and follow Jesus Christ to end up forever with your loved ones in a glorious land where you will never again be sick, in pain, or grow old. So here is where my question comes in…Why not? Why not believe in God and go to heaven than to take the chance of not believing and going to an awful place after it is too late? Why not? What have you got to lose? I beg of you…please believe in Jesus and be saved!
