The wide way is death, the narrow way is life!
Lies is death, truth is life!
Spiritual bondage is death, freedom from spiritual bondage is life!
The Law (failure to keep it) is death, the grace of Christ is life!
Darkness is death, the light of Christ is life!
Unbelief is death, belief in Christ is life!
Faithless-ness is death, faith in Christ is life!
Unrighteousness is death, the righteousness of Christ is life!
Sin is death, mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ is life!
Religion is death (ALL religion), Jesus Christ is life!
Self-righteousness is death, the righteousness of Christ is life!
Pride is death, the humility of Christ is life!
The flesh is death, the Spirit of God is life!
Rebellion against God is death, obedience to God through faith in Christ is life!
Self-exaltation is death, humility and submission to Jesus Christ is life!
Your way is death, God’s way is life!
The wickedness of sin is death, repentance and faith in Christ is life!
The way of the world is death, God’s way is life!
The grave is death, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ is life!
Dying in your sins is death, being covered by the blood of Christ is life!
Judgment of your sins by the holy God is death, forgiveness of sins through the grace of God in Christ is life!
Trusting self is death, trusting Christ is life!
Following self, or the world, is death, following Jesus Christ is life!
Refusing to repent is death, obeying Christ’s command to repent is life!
Being born in the natural (the flesh) is death, being born by the Spirit of God is life!
Being in Adam is death, being in Christ is life!
Committing sin is death, the work of Christ on the cross is life!
Rejecting salvation is death, believing on Christ is life!
Breaking the Law of God is death, trusting the sinless Son of God is life!
Your own “goodness” is death, the holy shed blood of the Son of God is life!
Being a child of the devil is death, being a child of God is life!
Your will be done is death, God’s will be done is life!
Man’s reasoning is death, God’s Truth and the Knowledge of God is life!
Man’s vanity of the mind is death, the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ is life!
Worship of self (or the god of this world) is death, worship of the Lord Jesus Christ is life!
The kingdom of darkness is death, the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son is life!
Breaking God’s Commandments is death, the mercy and grace of God in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ is life!
Judgment and condemnation is death, reconciliation with God through the blood of the Lamb is life!
The kingdoms of men and this world is death, the Kingdom of God is life!
The selfishness of man is death, the selflessness of Christ is life!
Manipulation and control of men is death, the love of Christ for men is life!
Satan and the demons is death, Christ the victorious overcomer is life!
Abiding in sin is death, abiding in Christ the Son of the Living God is life!
The bad news: Death!
The judgment of a righteous holy God for breaking God’s commandments, false worship and idolatry, blasphemy, not trusting in God, dishonoring father and mother, committing murder, committing adultery and fornication, stealing, lying, coveting, not loving the Lord God Almighty with all your heart mind & soul, not bowing the knee to Jesus Christ, ignoring and rejecting the call to repent, sins of the heart and mind, pursuing evil, wrongdoing, wickedness and sin. Sin is death!
The good news: Life!
Jesus Christ came in the flesh. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son that whosoever believes on Him will not perish but have eternal life! The righteousness of Christ is life! The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life. Jesus Christ was made sin to be the atoning blood sacrifice. Jesus Christ was crucified for sin; the judgment and wrath for sin was put on Him. His blood was a sacrifice of atonement through faith in His blood. God raised Him from the dead giving life to all who believe. Jesus Christ gave His life to pay for sins; He gave His life for sinners, for evil doers. He was raised from the dead! He was resurrected from the grave. Death is overcome by the atoning death and victorious resurrection of Christ. Death is overcome by the resurrection power of the life of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is source of life, He is the tree of life, He is the bread of life, He is the fountain of Living Waters. The shedding of His blood brings us life. His death in our place brings us life. His resurrection victory from the grave brings us life. His blood is life. His life is life. He is life!
