bon vivant: french. literally: good liver. a person having cultivated, refined and sociable tastes. (If I do say so, myself).
In the beginning of 2010, I resolved to start getting more out of life in New Orleans. I love traveling and exploring new cities; so, I decided I would use that approach to living life at home. I started searching for a blog about New Orleans arts, leisure and lifestyle like this one, and didn’t find anything. So, I decided to start Good Liver. On any given day I’ll list the stuff going on that interests me (art, film, theater, food, music, etc.) Also, I want to include things like day trip ideas, regional festivals, gardening, etc. Good Liver by no means intends to be a comprehensive list of what’s going on; it’s just what I’m doing today, or would do, if I had the money, energy, and didn’t have to work.
I try to post daily by noon. But, you can also search the archives by category, you know, for inspiration. That’s what I do.
Wonderful! Looking forward!
This is great! Thanks!
Nice project! More recipes and food-oriented blogging, please. 🙂
Love it!
I can’t wait to check out the Museum of the American Cocktail — how great is that? Can I get my daquiri first, because it sort of seems like you should have a drink in your hand to go to the cocktail museum?
On behalf of the HumidCity team, welcome to the NOLA Blogosphere!
Very Nice.
There is a good old one https://www.gumbopages.com but he left the city. We need a new real-time in-situ lifestyle blogger.

NOLA Bloggers rock!
Found your blog while looking for news on NOLA Comic Con. It was a fun event, I hope you were able to go. And I hope we’ll see you at Rising Tide, the annual NOLA Blogger conference.
Peace,
