REVIEW: Bluebird Gold by Devney Perry
Sandy M’s review of Bluebird Gold by Devney Perry
Contemporary Romance published by Montlake 30 Dec 25
Devney Perry never misses, never disappoints. When I learned this is a story she’s been wanting to write for years, I knew when it hit the shelves I had to read it ASAP. As with most great writers, they get better as the years go on, and Ms. Perry is no exception. That’s why this story works on every level.
REVIEW: Hera by Jennifer Saint
Kaitlyn‘s review of Hera by Jennifer Saint
Greek Mythology published by Flatiron Books 13 Aug 24
Another historical Greek mythology retelling that is thoroughly amazing. I’ve been a lover of all things Greek mythology since I was a kid, but Hera makes me completely rethink how I view the myths surrounding the queen of the gods.
REVIEW: Beneath the Burning Sea by Amanda Bouchet
Veena’s review of Beneath the Burning Sea (Kingmaker Chronicles, Book 5) by Amanda Bouchet
Romantic Fantasy published by Sourcebooks Casablanca 27 May 25
Once again, it’s a battle between the gods, and humans are thrust into the heart of it. When I first discovered Amanda Bouchet and this series, I was absolutely entranced and could hardly contain myself waiting for each subsequent book in the series. Despite my excitement at this new chapter, this story did not hit the same high for me as the earlier books in the series.

REVIEW: He Falls First by Jill Shalvis
Sandy M’s review of He Falls First (Colburn Brothers, Book 1) by Jill Shalvis
Contemporary Romance published by That’s What She Said Publishing 5 Aug 25
It’s been a while since I’ve read Jill Shalvis. So when I saw this is the first book in a new series about brothers – one of my favorite tropes – I knew I had to dig right in. I’m so glad I did.
REVIEW: I, Medusa by Ayana Gray
Kaitlyn‘s review of I, Medusa by Ayana Gray
Greek Mythology published by Random House 18 Nov 25
I LOVE this book. All the stars. The feminine rage is raging, and I couldn’t put it down. I, Medusa is everything I hoped for and more.
REVIEW: State of Preservation by Marie Force
Sandy M’s review of State of Preservation (First Family, Book 10) by Marie Force
Romantic Suspense published by HTJB, Inc 25 Dec 25
After bingeing this series all at once, I’m now waiting anxiously for each new book’s release. I try to make myself slow down when reading the most recent, but Nick and Sam and the entire gang keep me reading way too fast to make the story last. And then I’m waiting and waiting for the next suspenseful and romantic addition to the series. Always worth it, but it is sure heck missing them from book to book.

RETRO HOLIDAY REVIEW: Holiday with the Millionaire by Scarlet Wilson
Wendy the Super Librarian‘s review of Holiday with the Millionaire by Scarlet Wilson
Contemporary Romance published by Harlequin Romance 05 Jan 16
The plan was to spend the last couple of weeks of 2015 burning through my backlog of Christmas reads, which is how I stumbled upon Holiday with the Millionaire on my Kindle. Silly American me, I saw “holiday” and thought Christmas. When in reality what we have here is the UK “holiday,” meaning vacation. I’m blaming this on lack of sleep and caffeine. Anyway, while it was a detour from my original reading plans, this turned out to be an ideal Christmas-time read. Sweet, quick, with just enough angst lurking below the surface to keep the pages turning.
