Thanks for the patch. I hope the patch can fix a potential build error to convert VALA to C. Unfortunately a new xkeyboard-config was integrated in Fedora 43 last week and it causes a build error. I think the new layouts break the Fedora schedule. RC2 is still a candidate 1.5.33 GA. |
As that led to nondeterministic generated method names. This only seems to have a small effect on performance (~10s on a whole fresh build). While I appreciate the ibus project doesn't consider such nondeterminisms as particularly problematic (ibus#2272), having bitwise reproducible builds is increasingly desirable in Linux distributions, so hopefully you could consider applying this change nonetheless.
