Hello! 👋 My name is Dan Atkinson, I live in Yorkshire, UK with my wife and two sons. I'm a software engineer and have been working as a full-stack developer since about 2006 after leaving University of Lincoln.

The vast majority of my professional work involves .NET and .NET Core - mainly in C# but the ocassional bit of work in VB.NET.

On the front-end, I prefer to use Angular and Bootstrap which is then rolled up and built using NodeJs. I also love a bit of scripting with PowerShell being my tool of choice.

When not coding for a living, I'm also teaching my son programming! It's been a fun journey showing him how logic works in code and, more recently, refactoring. He loves making or coming up with ideas for Minecraft mods as well as some simple games in Python and Unity.
