I am currently working as a senior analyst IT at Equinor ASA in Norway.
Before that I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems at the University of Stuttgart. As part of my work, I was a member of the collaborative research center SFB1313 where I worked on efficient parallel black-box coupling methods for porous-medium applications. This work included studying, developing, implementing and evaluating of numerical methods. I love to learn new things, solve (hard) problems, and interdisciplinary work.
Some of my work you can find online here on GitHub. I am also one of the original developers of a DuMuX-preCICE adapter. I am passionate about good and sustainable software engineering. Consequently, Benjamin Uekermann , Ishaan Desai and I have developed a new course called Simulation Software Engineering.
If you are interested more in my work or research, please checkout my homepage https://jaust.net/, the links on the homepage or contact me.
Very simple solver dummies for the different bindings of preCICE. These dummies can run in parallel and one can run arbitrary combinations of these bindings.
