The Web Almanac is HTTP Archive's annual state of the web report.
Our mission is to combine the raw stats and trends of the HTTP Archive with the expertise of the web community. The Web Almanac is a comprehensive report on the state of the web, backed by real data and trusted web experts. It is comprised of 20 or so chapters spanning aspects of page content, user experience, publishing, and distribution.
The Web Almanac is available in the original English but has also been translated (sometimes only partially) to:
We are currently working on the 2025 version. If you would like to get involved, here's a list of chapters looking for help. Alternatively, you can fill out this interest form to express your interest. Check off all teams that interest you and give a detailed description of what your areas of expertise are so we can reach out to you with targeted opportunities.
Where to find us
We do almost all of our project planning here on GitHub. Browse the open issues to see what we're working on and what may be suitable for new contributors.
We also have a #web-almanac channel on the HTTP Archive Slack where we chat about project updates.
