The Old Stone Mill at Paoli, built around 1864 and located on the Sugar River, it was a bustling site for commerce in the mid 1800s. Now, Paoli is a quiet town filled with art galleries, a historic church, a few restaurants, and a quiet, come on down and put your feet up attitude. The Sugar River Trail runs right through town — biking in the summer and fall, winter sports in the colder months. Nice town. Perfect antidote for a too-busy life!

Seeded Earth Photo blog is 5 years old this October. I began with this wordpress.com blog on 10-10-2007. I now write all of my blog posts on my on a wordpress.org blog, my Seeded Earth Studio blog site. And I update this blog on a weekly basis.

What better way to say goodbye to summer and hello to autumn than to stroll around the Farmers’ Market, gathering peppers and potatoes, pumpkins and squash in our string bags, tucking bags of squeaky cheese curds and a jar of freshly pickled relish in our pockets, greeting the farmers we’ve been visiting all summer while they tell us of tonight’s weather prediction – a hard frost in the low lying regions.
