Carol Elaine - your humble chronicler: a woman living in L.A. and trying to get through life as best as she can
FAMILY:
(all pseudonyms should be self-explanatory)
Mom - my mother, living on her own for the first time after separation from my...
Dad - who, due to recently discovered serious personality defects and tendencies, is no longer considered to be a part of the family
OlderBro - my older brother, a good guy who nonetheless feels the need to lecture me on a regular basis
YoungerBro - my younger brother, a guy that has alienated the rest of the family
YoungerSis - my younger sister, a sweet G-d fearing Christian woman with a wicked sense of humor
BabySis - my baby sister, a woman that continues to amaze me everyday
FRIENDS:
(of which there are many - in no particular order)
BestFriend - my oldest and dearest friend in the world, I've known her since high school and can't imagine life without her
ModelGirl - one of my oldest and dearest friends, someone else I can't imagine life without
RockerChick - okay, I can't imagine my life without her either, we knew each other in high school but became close friends after working together many many moons ago
Sarriah [also known as FFDWG(FKaSarah) - the initials stand for FutureFireDancerWriterGirl(FormerlyKnownasSarah)] - until the middle of December I worked with her, a remarkable woman who has become a dear friend over the last couple of years
Squiggy (also known as Linda) - a lovely woman and dear friend first met through one of her web sites, she's become as close as a sister to me
CuteNerdBoy - someone I knew a little bit in high school, dated briefly a few years ago, then reconnected with in June '03, whereupon we dated, I fell for him, then we decided to be nothing more than really good friends (okay, he decided and I agreed, admittedly reluctantly at first) - he's all over these pages, in case you haven't noticed by now - as of December '03 we're in the process of transitioning to the friendship aspect of our relationship
LiterateLawyerGuy - as of December '03, a new and promising young man in the dating arena, he's currently sweeping me off my feet, though his primary residence in San Diego, amongst other considerations, makes dating a bit challenging
(Addendum: as of January '04 he is no longer a "promising young man is the dating arena". *shrug* Oh well.)
Boychik (also known as WestHollywoodBoy) - another close friend, he's a nice guy that sometimes presses the wrong buttons - his good heart and generosity is what keeps us friends
Christopher - no pseudonym for him for some reason, we became friends via our 'blogs and Friendster - a good guy and the person who specifically requested this page (I'd been thinking about it for a while but had never gotten around to putting it together)
There have been, of course, lots of other people mentioned in this simple 'blog - acquaintances, SOs of family and friends, their children and family, but those are the main people for now. If there's anyone I've left out, please let me know and I'll add them.
