I start to cater to his viking mentality a bit after this.

The man lifted his arms up in the air and roared a battle-cry, I never experienced this type of thing but I must be strong and not show any reaction to it.

The ghost disappears and a black dragon stats forming, it’s larger then the barrier and can barely fit on this cliff side area.   The wings are folded in but if they extend out i’m sure it would destroy that part of the mountain.

After awhile it fully formed, it took longer because of the sheer mass of it’s body.  Finally it stretched and turned it’s neck to look at me.

I see him paying close attention so I know i’m getting through to him.

He looked back so he understood what I yelled or maybe not?  I don’t know that reaction.  I sat there for a few more minutes watching Schwarz fly away.

The stairs appear, they show up under the left waterfall and around the outside of the amphitheater like ceiling that I created when I first got here.  I’m really far so this is going to to take awhile.

Walking up the newly formed marble staircases that zigzag up and at least a dozen times crosses over the river that comes from above I finally reached where they end.  It’s a nice cliff side that allows me to see almost all the way to the ocean.  Underneath this cliff, water comes out of a large cave that feeds down.   The water must accumulate from above which is still four or five times the distance high as it is to the ground, it’s pretty far to the top even from here.

Grabbing my forehead I just used up almost all of majority of points I had left.   This morning I gained only 8 but still had over 250 left from yesterdays accomplishments and reserve that I had.  Now my total is going to be only 178 and I still need to reincarnate those guys.   I should have more but those stairs and bridges getting up here looks like they cost quite a bit as well, handrails and all every things marble and not your standard marble, they are strong and sturdy.

So either way they’ll either flow out in some sort of stampede or can just casually get up and leave if they wanted.  I shrug it off.

The summoning circle is just that, it looks like a bunch of glyphs and markings in a circle with intricate designs within them.  Pretty big too, at least 40 feet from each side, so 20 feet from the center going  around.  I move to the area where it looks like I should stand and open up my Reincarnation Cycle screen.

The current person in queue is a man who died in 980 AD, a viking apparently.  Notes say that he honored his tribe by pillaging and looting other tribes and nations, which during that time it’s what they did.  Seems like a strong warrior type but i’m worried about the pillaging and looting part.

When I was in bed last night I decided to make the mythic dragons based off the primary colors as well as white and black, that way there’s 9 total,  red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet are the main 7.

This morning I woke up to find the system guide had even more access which includes initiating reincarnations herself.  This is good, while i’m not entirely lazy myself as I am the ghost possession made me be lazy.  Damn Toko, although now I don’t feel mad at him at all for some reason but i’m still feeling the issues arise now and then.  I wonder which one of us actually has the forgetfulness?

A ghost appeared before me he only cost 10 faith points but apparently the species change to the mythic dragon is going to cost me 50 when it happens.  The ghost starts getting angry, looks straight in my eyes and rushes towards me violently.  I dodge to the side and oops he’s going to pass over the edge of the summoning circle and right there is a cliff.   Oh ouch, I flinch as he collides head on with a barrier that envelopes the area.

“That looks like it hurts.” (Devlin)

An hour later of him rampaging in the circle I of course stepped out of the barrier early on because I was tired of dodging.  He finally cools off a little because of the frustration that he couldn’t get out.

“You done yet?  I have a kid at home I want to go make dinner for and it’s really going to get late by the time I get down this mountain.” (Devlin)

She looks as if a huge weight came off her shoulders, ugh still with those eyes they look like they’re going to devour me any minute.   It would be nice, I haven’t been with anyone for a very long time and she is legal, well this is a new world but I believe that an adult is whatever age you can you comprehend the meaning behind the actions you take when being in a relationship..   I want kids to be kids for as long as they can but I know I can’t force people to think like I do.

“Anyways back on the subject.   I’m going to be creating all of the different species I can, that means all of the different races as well. Well what I am asking is would you like to be the first of one of those races and not be human anymore?” (Devlin)

It looks like she’s thinking diligently and weighing her options.   Of course I can see what she’s thinking and it’s about the different types of people she’s seen in movies and anime.

It’s night time now but this house has lighting with switches, so I head to the office that nears the front door and sit at the executive desk.   I didn’t notice what Aya was doing but I can sense her getting Anatole in the bath.   That’s good.

I head out of the my office, btw my chair is one of those state of the art executive chairs that is really amazingly comfortable.  I want to make a gaming room.    I head upstairs and check on Anatole, he’s completely zonked out on his bed.  Was this his first day or second I don’t remember.  I know it’s Aya’s first day.  I don’t see her in the hall and I can sense her sleeping as well, i’m not going to disturb her.

After entering my room I put on some pajama bottoms that are red and black, they’re long and very comfortable.  Thin too so I don’t overheat under the blankets.  For some reason my blankets are very heavy, I think I read somewhere they help reduce anxiety.   Good thinking universe.

I wake up earlier then the other two do so I take a shower get those nice clothes back on and head down.  Today’s going to be a nice ham and egg breakfast, extra ham for Toko, he’s doing really well considering.

“Spend the morning with Anatole please Aya,  I have work to do this morning and it might be dangerous so stay in the house if you could, also only allow Toko out to do his business than bring him right back in.” (Devlin)

Since they’re dragons we should probably have it out in the open some place and away from anything that can be damaged.   I look at the mountain behind the temple and start heading that direction.

Seeing the food on the table I set Yoko down and help Anatole sit in the seat closest to Devlin who is at the end of the table.  Only proper since this is his place.  I head over to the other side and sit down.   No one starts eating yet.

I see Devlin starting to eat and watch Anatole mimic the excellent table manners.   Going back to Devlin’s side I help him cut his meat up and then head back to my plate.

Polite, good looking, likes kids and animals and a God in both looks and literally a God.  I’m having a difficult time paying attention.

“Aya, let me get your thoughts on some things.” (Devlin)

He stops me from eating this western style food which i’m also drooling over.  Steak, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy.

“After dinner?” (Aya)

He seemed to look into the distance again while eating.

“Oh!” (Devlin)

Devlin stands up and grabs a container from the refrigerator.   Brings it back to the table and poors it into our glasses.  Oh, it’s milk.  This would be good with what we’re eating.

“2% if that’s fine with you.” (Devlin)

“Thats fine.  Uhm, Devlin .. how is it that you have all of these conviences, food and know what types of milk it is.” (Aya)

I’m seriously questioning this!  This is another world ya know.  It shouldn’t be like where I came from.

“Well I came from your world as well.  Simple as that.   Around the same time as well but from the states, not Japan.” (Devlin)

He sits back down and continues eating.  Anatole practically gobbled up his food so fast you would think that he never ate before.

“Papa i’m done! Look! I’m really full.  Can I go play now?” (Anatole)

“Anni remember you can’t be excused from the table until the head of the house is done and is ready to get up, whether you are at someone elses or your own.   So you need to sit patiently and converse with your family or be quiet until then.   You know how to be proper like this, good, I knew you could do it.  You’re doing really well.” (Devlin)

He even knows how to talk to kids without being harsh and scolding at the same time giving a valuable etiquette lesson.  Where are his flaws?

He read my mind!  Crud!  Just moments ago I was thinking about sneaking into his room and climb the stairs to adulthood!    Looking over to him I can see him twitch his eyes a little, he read my mind again!

“I still have some things I want to discuss with someone after dinner.   So we’ll hang out in the living room for awhile.   I’m sorry but there’s no television here.” (Devlin)

I’m shocked again, enough to give me a complete pause as I have the fork with some meat on it in my mouth.   I spit take and the food and fork go flying across the table.   Anatole is laughing so much right now.

“I understand, it’s still your first day there’s a lot to take in right?  So don’t be ashamed.” (Devlin)

I want to jump him and have him take over me, I never thought this way before, what’s come over me?

We finish dinner, Devlin gets up first and starts to pick up the empty plates while I grab some of the bowls of food.   One of the draws has a ton of plastic-like containers where I put the food in to store it in the refrigerator.   Anatole has disappeared with Yoko to who knows where.  We both walk to the living room and he motions me to sit down.  I sit at the furthest end and he’s somewhat in the center.

“First, yes I have been reading your mind.  It’s unintentional but what you’re thinking is easily read.” (Devlin)

“I’m not rejecting you and now that you know that it’s only us who are here on this entire planet, well beyond animals and creatures and such.  I’ve again been talking with Mary, who by the way is my guide on how to be a  proper God her and she’s been giving me some advice.  You see I actually work for an even higher person who, i’m just in charge of this planet.  I get to decide how to make the world but i’m not the main boss ya know?” (Devlin)

“I get it.  So you’re a manager while the chief officer is above you.” (Aya)

“You certainly understand things well and what i’m saying.   That’s very nice.” (Devlin)

Devlin’s staring into my eyes while communicating to me in my mind.  A sudden chill goes over me when I heard him say that i’m gifted.  Well I already know that.

He stares off again and this time I understand he’s talking to that other person who is advising him.

He guides me up the stairs and heads right to the first door on the left.  Opening it he motions me inside.

“This will be your room, we looked into your mind to find a style that you would like.” (Devlin)

The room is perfect, an oak canopy bed with flowing silk curtains, furniture that matches and an elegant Japanese embroided rug over the elegant wooden floors.  A closet and more.  Wait, did he say we?

“There’s a bathroom across the hall so you’ll be close to it.  There are other bedrooms on this floor so you will be needing to share it in the future.  One you change into something more comfortable i’ll be waiting on the other side where Anatole is, his room is the first on the left. ” (Devlin)

“Did you say we? so you already have another assistant, how did you get clothes in my size.” (Aya)

That damn handsome man turns his face to the side to avoid me seeing him blush.

“Oh yeah, the other assistant doesn’t have a physical body but she’s a she so you don’t have to worry.” (Devlin)

He walks out of the room and closes the door, leaving me to my own thoughts.   Okay lets rummage through those drawers for clothes.

A little bit later I finally chose an outfit i’m comfortable with, a nice tank top a small well bra that fits me better than anything i’ve ever owned has, it’s material is very thing but very supportive, you can barely even see it under this top.  I found some black jeans that look very comfortable, new socks and some awesome black hightops that fit well with those jeans.

Leaving the room I head to the other side of the stairs which normally it shouldn’t take that long but this house is just huge.   It feels like i’m in a palace.   I reach the first door on the left and knock on the door.

“Come in!” (?)

I hear a boys voice from within.   As I enter I see the man sitting on the floor with the boy, they both playing with toy cars and trucks.

“Oh no! I forgot to pay my rent so I have to run to the bank!”  (Devlin)

The boy looks really confused with what he said but plays along anyways.   The God himself is playing with the boy.  If this was an anime my eyes would have flashing hearts come from the iris right now.

“Anatole, hey .. This is Aya, she’s going to be the one who looks after you while i’m working ok, don’t give me that sad face.  She’s nice!” (Devlin)

No God of Creation and Destruction that’s not what he’s sad about at all! He wants to play games with you!  Soon as I thought that I saw him look over with a smile and a nod like he gets it.  Did he read my mind.  Oh .. no.

“Hi Aya! I’m Anatole and over there is Toko!” (Anatole)

Toka? Toka who? I look over to where he’s pointing.  Sitting next to the dresser is a puppy!  It’s beautiful!  With cute fluffy black fur!

I immediately rush over to him partly scaring him away at the same time.  He’s afraid of me!  No, no! It’s a doggy!  It can’t be afraid of me!   I sit on the floor with the others and motion calmly now for him to get closer.  Toko the pup yaps a few time and moves over to sit on my lap.

Petting Toko i’m completely oblivious to the people i’m sitting with and mofumofu his belly with my face.   This pup seems to love it it’s getting all excited and no not in that way a happy excited.

I look over to him.

“Please show Anatole how to use the bathroom, completely.  He’s unaware how anything works around here, i’m afraid he hit his head and seems to not remember much.” (Devlin)

I wonder what he means by that, kids are taught at a very young age to learn to use the toilet.

“Hold off on giving him a bath until after dinner but at least was his hands and face.   I’ll cook tonight and meet you both in the dining room.” (Devlin)

I stand up and bow to him, he is God ya know so I have to be respectful.   He nods back to me and heads out of the room turning right to go to the kitchen.   He cooks for himself?  Doesn’t have any 5 star chef at his beck and call?

“Okay Anatole let’s get you cleaned up for dinner, follow me ok.” (Aya)

Anatole puts things into the toy box one by one while smiling. then moves over to me.   Leading him to my bathroom?  No if it’s this place there’s probably a bathroom just across the hall.   Yup there is.   I show him how to use the sink and the soap that’s next to it, we wash his face with a damp wash cloth and another one to dry his face and hands.   Oh a hamper in the bathroom, classy.

There’s a linen closet near the bathtub so I grab more wash cloths and put them back on the rungs near the sink.  Leading Anatole and the Yoko who can’t keep his eyes off me for some reason start heading downstairs when I hear a whine.   Apparently Yoko the pup has a difficult time going down the stairs so I lift him up and it starts licking my face.  It? I check.  Okay he starts licking my face.

I haven’t looked around the place yet, apparently Anatole doesn’t know where everything is either.   We find the dining area though.  Behind the stairs there’s a good sized living room with comfortable couches that seat about 14 people.   Beyond that are archways that lead into the dining area, it feels like the living room and dining area are somewhat connected but the three archways separate the two areas.  Wood floors everywhere, i’m so enamored by this design.

Seeing the food on the table I set Yoko down and help Anatole sit in the seat closest to Devlin who is at the end of the table.  Only proper since this is his place.  I head over to the other side and sit down.   No one starts eating yet.

I turn and instinctively rushes into the street to get the Dog out of the way in time.  My final thought was that i’ve seen this on an anime.

Here I am.  Standing next to a small table that had cookies and tea with some very nice white wicker chairs around it and this ikemon of a man keeps staring at me!  He’s tall around 6 foot 6 with what looks to be a very fit body, not skinny like I like them but definitely tone.  He’s dressed in an outfit that looks custom tailored from one of the most expensive shops that only millionaires can buy from.  I’m blushing!  What is this?

“Are you ok now?” (?)

I can understand him, but he’s talking in American-English.  i good with English.

“I’m fine.  Thank you.” (Aya)

As I bow to him I see that i’m very ghostly, i’m a ghost.   Oh yeah I died.

“My name is Fujisho Aya, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” I say with flawless English.

What? flawless?  I’ve always had an accent, I wasn’t born in America so why is it so good?

“I know you’re confused and it’s okay, allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Devlin and as you know you have passed on and are now here.” (Devlin)

Those are just stories, it could never happen.  Could it be one of those transported to another world things?   Our family doesn’t believe in reincarnation.   Unlike many here my mother and father are Catholic and myself as well.

“Is this heaven? and are you God or did you take my soul when I died and brought me to a new world to save the Demon Lord?  Maybe you want me to be a villainess to change the outcome of some delusional prince who is supposed to kill me in the end?” (Aya)

That ikeman just stares at me with a questioning head tilt for a moment, how cute!  I’m blushing again!  Wait isn’t that itself another cliche’?  Get a grip self!  The man starts laughing.

“I’ve read a bunch of those manga’s too!  Although they were translations but wow yeah can I say none of the above?  Your soul which is your consciousness regardless of your beliefs are sent into a reincarnation cycle.  Sorry if this offends your religion but that’s how it is.” (Devlin)

He sits down and motions me to sit as well, offering cookies.  Pouring me some tea he continues.

“On the other hand this is a different world then you’re familiar with.   However, the whole reason here is to just reincarnate you here.   You can be remade as you are, change to a different species altogether and even change your race!” (Devlin)

This shocked me.  He doesn’t want to use me for any ulterior motif,  he’s saying I can be reborn here or even stay as who I am now?  I’m a top student I can figure this out.

“Anyway, I do need an assistant here in my world, that would be nice if it was you.  I also have another person here who I have taken in that I need help with, a young boy around 6 years old.  Not quite a toddler but still I do have a lot of work ahead of me and any help would be nice.” (Devlin)

To live with this man, I don’t know if I could do it without eating him alive if you know what I mean.

“Of course you’ve read those stories so you probably figured that you being in another world could give you some cheat like skill.  I can’t do that here though however we do have magic.  I am positive that you could be great with it.” (Devlin)

Well that’s that.  I’m dead and have no idea what’s going to happen to me.  If I reincarnate to some other creature or monster I wouldn’t know what to do.   If I reincarnate as myself he seems to insinuate that I will be able to keep who I am and be myself still.   I want to keep the memories of my family,  I took care of my younger brother and sisters while mom and dad are working.

“Alright, i’ll do it.  I’ll reincarnate as the same and help you with your child.  I can cook and clean well too, I am looking forward to working with you.” (Aya)

I stand up and bow respectully to him.  He reaches his hand into the air and appears to tap something that I can’t see and everything goes dark, I instinctively close my eyes.   When didn’t I realize that I couldn’t feel anything with my sense of touch?  Now though my body felt a tingling sensation and I feel the weight of myself as gravity took over.   I’m whole again, not a ghost.

“Yay!  You’re still you right?” (Devlin)

Did he just say yay?  Okay.  I check myself over and i’m still wearing my uniform and everything is where it’s supposed to be.   Devlin my apparently my new boss and i’m his assistant looks as if he stares off into the distance for a moment.

“Oh! Hey Aya can you see this?” (Devlin)

He is waving to something in front of him.  The table?  No.

“I don’t see what you’re referring to beyond the table and whats on it.” (Aya)

He’s looking into the distance again, whatsup with him?

“Okay Aya, let me show you to your room and introduce to to Anatole, the boy I mentioned.” (Devlin)

“Okay.” (Aya)

He than leads me through some very large double doors.  I didn’t notice it before but this looks like one of those temples in Italy or Greece.   Not a subject I studied.  There are large pillars everywhere on the outside and some inside.   The further he leads me inside I notice a statue of this man.   He makes a good looking statue too!   Beneath the statue is a plaque.  It reads ‘God of Creation and Destruction.

“Devlin sir, this plaque. ” (Aya)

I just realized it.  I’m standing next to a God.   My knees give in and I encounter the floor, just moments later I snap out of it.

“I wasn’t lying.” (Devlin)

Totally embarrassed now.

“Sorry, it just.  I suddenly realized the full scale of it and caught me off guard.” (Aya)

After he helps me stand up, his hands are soft.  They don’t have callouses or even a single blemish.  I’m making myself blush again!  Stop this me!  With him now leading me to another set of double doors next to the statue we enter an amazing hallway and to another set of doors in.   Once we enter I can tell whoever made this place is highly skilled.  Plush carpets and expensive looking wood furnishings.  Crystal chandeliers hanging above and a beautiful staircase.

He guides me up the stairs and heads right to the first door on the left.  Opening it he motions me inside.

We enter Anatoles room and it’s white and blue design is very boyish, a toy box and a single sized bed, dressers and a nice closet.

Searching around the room to find his clothes Anatole is looking around, of course he wouldn’t recognize anything but this is just a facade to help him adjust.   I help him with his t-shirt, underwear jeans and shoes.

“See Anatole, that wasn’t so difficult was it?  You always told me you could handle it on your own right?  So from now on you can do it yourself yeah?” (Devlin)

He nods shyly.

“There’s your toy box, go ahead and play for awhile.  I’ll call you when it’s time to eat.  Remember not to touch anything you are unfamiliar with outside your room ok?” (Devlin)

He nods again.

“Anatole, call me Papa like you always do ok?” (Devlin)

“Okay Papa.” Anatole says with a very happy smile while moving to his toybox.

I head into my room to find a large set of clothes in the closet and dressers.   What happened to my hoody and jeans I created on the first day?  I forgot.

I put on a modern suit that had nice golden threading that made it look royal.  A clean white long sleeve shirt of course, but I very much dislike wearing a tie so I ignore those for now.   Come on this is supposed to be a kind of fantasy setting?  Why would I have a tie?

Heading back to the gazebo I See Toko the pup staring into Anatoles room.   I grab Toko and pet him in my arms while entering the boys room.

“Oh let me introduce you.   Anatole this is Toko, we got him just a couple days ago.  Sorry for not introducing you to him yet.  But play nicely ok?  He’s a good pip and can understand what you’re saying so remember that, do not hurt him in any way.” (Devlin)

“Okay Papa!” Anatole says while rushing over to pet Toko in my arms.

I set Toko down near him and nod to him and he nods back.  He emits an emotion of thanks to warn Anatole not to hurt him.

I head back to the gazebo by way of through the temple.   The banquet tables were moved to storage so it was quite empty again.   Still nothing on the above floors that encircle the place as well.  All of the dishes and silverware were put in the mansions kitchen of course.   Great way to occupy these long days.   Was I ever this eager to do anything?  When I was younger in my previously life I kind of feel I was.

At the gazebo the next entry is a girl around 18 years old.   Notes say that she helped raise her younger siblings while her parents worked.  She was hit by a truck while going to her last year in high school.  She lived in Japan around the time that I was alive there.

My status screen appeared on it’s own with a popup box. ‘Congratulations!  You just earned +100 points for being appreciative to the only one you can help you!’.  My faith points are now at 232.

I could swear that I felt the planet itself feel happy.

Opening up the reincarnation system now that im out here.  I click on the init for the girl from Japan.  She costs a larger amount of 40 points.  Well I need her to help with Anatole, I just hope I can word this right to her and not cause a scene.

Appearing before me now is the ghost of a girl who is not as small as I thought Japanese girls would be in many ways.  She’s around 5’4 with a nice figure.  Long hair, wearing a shool girl uniform.  Poor girl I thought to myself.

Aya’s POV:

The last thing I remember was walking to school eyeing the dog that had it’s head lifted above the fence urging me to want to be petted.   The dog disappeared for a  moment and the next thing I knew it jumped over the fence and started running around me happily wanting to be petted.

Oh you better believe I mofumofu’d the heck out of that puppers.   It was quite awhile I was doing that then I realized I was going to be late for school.  I’m never late and i’m proud of this.  Oh no!   We can’t have this.   I’m one of the top students and I need to set an example to everyone else.  I’m also on the student council.

Waving bye to the doggy that was trying to follow me I started running towards school.   It’s important I kept thinking to myself while trying to run faster.

“Doggy go home!” (Aya)

The doggy keeps pace with me while running, I keep waving the pup away.  Finally the dog got disinterested and started heading across the street.   Just moments later while the dog is in the middle of the road sniffing around a truck comes barreling down the road.  The man behind the wheel is not oblivious to the dog, the driver just doesn’t care.

I turn and instinctively rushes into the street to get the Dog out of the way in time.  My final thought was that i’ve seen this on an anime.

Time to create people.

Putting the glass table and chairs on a gazebo I made that’s surrounded by the lake along with the tea set and some cookies I created I look at my optic panel and click on the next soul that is to be reincarnated.

They’re someone who died in the 1820’s on Earth, apparently a farmer.  There were no notes beyond that which makes me believe they weren’t attributed to neither good nor negative situations.  Being the 1820’s and slavery was rampant it’s very possible they could either be a slave or slave-holder.

I’m totally against slavery of any kind, although I don’t mind people who need to work off their debts being forced into a labor of some sort but the inability to give them a choice is too harsh in my views.

Clicking on the Init reincarnate button the ghost appears before me, the person is looking around and scans over his body only to realize that he was indeed a ghost that was very opaque.  20 points were deducted from me and I now I have 132 left.  The system guide informed me that the more potent the soul the more it costs to reincarnate here.   The people with less are generally negative but I should check each one individually for now.

“I’m sorry.   Yes, you died and now you are here.  My name is Devlin, it’s nice to meet you.” (Devlin)

“Sir, please.  Forgive me.  This is a bit of a shock.  I was planting a new harvest and the last thing I remember I saw some tough looking men coming from the near by forest.  Oh my wife!  Where is my wife!!!” (Ghost)

The ghost is clearly agitated but since his concern for his wife is very apparent and that he was a farmer its pretty easy to assume he was a decent person.

“It’s ok.  It’s alright to be concerned, but your wife is not here with you.  I don’t know what happened to her but at this moment you are dead and I have to decide what to do with you.” (Devlin)

“Am I going to heaven?  I was a very good Christian, prayed every Sunday at the church with my wife.   We are planning to have children soon. I am sorry again, my name is Anatole.  You are God yes?” (Anatole)

“Yes, you can say that I am.  However I am not a God of the place you were at.  I am the God of this world.   I have decided that I am going to reincarnate you.  Do you have any preferences?” (Devlin)

Anatole clearly didn’t know what Devlin meant by preferences.

“None my Lord.  To be blessed to come back and hopefully see my wife and family again is all I could wish for.” Anatole

I know that’s not going to happen.   He’s a farmer though so i’ve decided to reincarnate him as a male human again and keep his knowledge and know-how but remove his memories and experience as being himself.  The option for species doesn’t exactly say human but humanai.  Close enough right?  I also set his age as 6 years old since there are no other humans around.  He’ll remember his knowledge on how to do things appropriately I hope.

“Anatole, I have decided to reincarnate you again.   You am going to believe that you’re a good person so don’t let me down in your next life, ok?” (Devlin)

As Anatole nods a yes to me I click the apply reincarnation button.

Anatole’s ghost disappears and in his place is a young boy at 6 years old.   Looking up at me.

“Hello Mister.   I seem to be lost, I can’t remember where I live or who my parents are.” (Anatole)

He’s giving a worried look with a shed of a tear.   What a good kid I was thinking to myself.

“Anatole.  You must of hit your head.   You are an orphan who I took in.  You say you don’t remember that, but that’s ok.  Just take your time.  Now come with me ok?  You’re not wearing your clothes so we need to get you dressed.” (Devlin)

Another System Guide upgrade happened this morning and the benefits would be that I could use the System Guide Mary to actually will my intentions into existence by just asking her to do it.

[ Mary, setup one of the rooms in the mansion for this boy and create some clothes there that this boy will wear.  Something appropriate for my era, jeans, t-shirts, socks, underwear, tennis shoes, jackets and anything else that you can do to accommodate him for now.  Make them a bit lose so he can grow into them as well for at least another 6 months. ] (Devlin)

At that moment I smack my forehead and remember we haven’t designated months yet.

Leading Anatole to the mansion I pass through the temple where the entrance hall is to go there.   After entering the mansion there a grandiose set of stairs that lead up to the bedrooms above.  Informed by the system guide that Anatoles room is the first one on the left, in the left wing, while mine is the last one on the right.  My room takes up two rooms of space but it’s setup with a beautiful canopy bed and furnishing with the red darkwood grain that the rest of the house has.  Additionally I have my own bathroom while across from Anatole is this wings bathroom.

We enter Anatoles room and it’s white and blue design is very boyish, a toy box and a single sized bed, dressers and a nice closet.

Nearly the entire day was spent modifying the worlds parameters with the System Guides help.

It’s night time and ever since my eyes were modified I was able to see clearly in the dark, although it wasn’t that dark since the moons light along with my modified vision made it feel like it was still dusk.

These are the most relevant world settings that I set.

Earth based Animal Population,  I set this so that it was something I was remotely familiar with.

Earth based bug, germs and insects,  I set this as well so that again something I was familiar with but also I know that these are requirements for cleaning up the planet from dead plants and animals.   It is something I noticed wasn’t occurring when the meats I created yesterday were not spoiling.

Science based magic.  The MANA system I discussed yesterday with the system guide.

MANA Build Up Nodes.   This option is for when there are too many particles in a given area they can gather together and create mythical life.  You can recognize these areas by the heavy concentration of MANA so large of a population of the particles that they are visible when together like that.  The technical term is miasma, which appears as a dark gaseous substance floating close to the ground in large amounts.

Randomly they coalesce inside of a life form within the vicinity which can build up within the hearts becoming a crystallized attachment to the blood stream and modify the creature based off templates that the scientists put together.   Could turn into a pegasus from a horse, or even upgrade a regular bear into a iron type bear and more.   These templates are all based from stories, whether its historic myths up to even 20th and 21st century manga and comics.

Apparently most of those scientists were nerds, gamers and otaku’s.   From what the system guide told me their were quite a few social justice involved individuals that left Earth as well.  During my time which was before this all happened it was a big thing.  Another set of people who left Earth with them were military from the country they came from.

Along with the nodes modifying current life, they could just crystallize on the spot and create mana stones.   A large enough one by design can turn into a dungeon core and a dungeon can be created in the vicinity.  The programming of it make them self sufficient with gathering more mana from outside sources near it or in it to create more magic based lifeforms to protect the core from being destroyed.   Once the core is destroyed or removed from it’s dungeon it retains the energy from the mana inside of it but the function of the dungeon no longer exists effectively stopping the dungeon from working at all.

Using those mana crystals as power you can design functional earth-like tools.  Instead of electricity it would use those mana stones instead.  I’m currently a long way of personally involving myself to learn how to create mana based electronics so i’ll just leave it to the universe to fill in the gaps for now.

After clicking ‘apply’ on the screen for World 323 parameters time just stopped.    It was a good several hours until it started back up again and I gained three hundred points for finishing setting the parameters.   I currently only have 153 points left.

Creating another banquet table, .. I have two now, no chairs because I forgot them.  The previous food is now spoiling appropriately and Toko and I had a hearty breakfast together.    Outside I could feel the signs of life.    Wolves, buffalo, deer herds and more are now congregating all around us.  Even on near our lake  a flamboyance of flamingo’s decided to make it their home.   Fish of various types including Koi and frogs are here as well.

Along with dinner I also made a mansion with the Roman-Grecian style exterior that matches the temple and the interior’s furnishing is red darkwood wood grain, the universe made the it very 21st style with a bit of royal elegance to it.  Plush carpets, large kitchen with mana based appliances for convenience.  The mansion has 8 bedrooms, 2 offices a welcoming room.  Storage areas, modern bathrooms and more.

I have no idea where the plumbing connects to but i’m guessing the universe created something to take care of all of that while filling in the gaps with possibly futurist technology or what not.

Toko now has his own yard next to the mansion, the area is still lifted above the lake and the marble walkways allow the fish to swim to different areas underneath them.

With the System Guide’s upgraded version she’s more helpful then originally.  Giving me idea’s on what to do next.

When humanoid life dies they get sent immediately to the reincarnation cycle while animal and creatures just die, their consciousness whether intelligent or not are wiped clean and removed.  Their only way to create more life is either have more of their kind created in the miasma or by reproducing with their own species.   The reincarnation cycle is off limits for animals and monsters.

The reason for this I am going to send people that were horrible choices from the reincarnation cycle to reincarnate as a monster or creature instead.  I don’t want to see them again.

It’s time to make the population that’s going to live here.  I actually made a plan this time and typed it up on my console.  A keyboard like interface appeared when I willed it to in my optic system so it made things quite a bit easier for me to type my plans out.

My plan is to have every race available but put them in random in various parts of the planet as starting points.

Time to create people.

Laying on the floor still, Toko crawls up to my legs and lays on the Toga’s end falling asleep.   Thinking to myself that a lot has happened today and I should make a list of things to accomplish to live here, my eyes close and I uncomfortably fall asleep.

The sun shining and I wake up, my body doesn’t feel stiff at all from sleeping on the hard marble floors.  I think to myself that it’s weird but remember that i’m in my rejuvenated younger self.  I’m also not as angry with Toko anymore for ruining my previously life.

Moving over to the laptop I notice the new time value on the desktop showing that it’s five-fifteen am.  Which makes sense since night came around six pm last night and there are nine-hundred minutes in night time cycle currently.

Opening up the status screen for the world my eyes grow wider.  Another pop up box appeared that shows ‘Congratulations, you survived the first night! +100 Faith Points.  First believer +100 points.’.   My worries about having points to use today has calmed me down a bit.

Closing that popup box another appeared.  ‘Upgrade System Guide?  Requires 50 points. Yes / No’.   I currently have 205 faith points.  and click on the Yes box.

I look over and see all the left over food and fruits that were left over from last night.

“Toko we should eat the rest of the meat before it spoils.” (Devlin)

After having a good breakfast Toko scampers out of the temple to do his business while I sit an promise myself to be more careful with my Faith Points today.   Slapping my forehead I also remember that I have to finish setting up the world with the parameter screen.

I’ve decided to move the glass table and wicker chairs to underneath the outside roof area between a set of pillars to the left of the door, since it will take some time until the system guide is back I should do something productive like this.  I’m in good health now so it’s going to be easy enough.

After some time lazily sitting on the wicker chairs, drinking the still warm for some reason tea that seems to be never ending from the tea-pot.   This surprised me at first but since my now boss Morgan created it, it was probably added as a feature.  I wasn’t a tea drinker in my previous life but this still tasted good.  Even the small bowl of sugar cubes never seemed to run out.

I start to scream from the burning pain that is being inflicted on my eyes.  My vision disappears again and the tears are flowing abundantly.  The pain is too much and I fall down onto the marble, passing out.

Several hours later I wake up again and rubbing my eyes.  My eyes are still sore from whatever modification happened.

In front of me is now the desktop screen that I had before with a bunch of new options icons available, there is no background image and everything is translucent enough for me to see through the screen without being impeded by it.   I see new things like ‘Map’ and such but the other two, ‘Reincarnation Cycle’ and ‘World 323’ icons are still there as well.

Moving through the screens I found the world options.   First thing I notice is there are options for magic use.   I’m normally a science based guy but I have been doing some incredible things this last day.     I immediately looked over to the Physics area and there’s an option for ‘Magic can alter physics’.   There’s an option I skimmed over earlier for Science Based Magic.

When the system guide mentioned birthing hives I shuddered.
