Just came across your blog from fosterAbba and thought I’d say “hi.”
I’m going to go back and catch myself up on your postings soon.

Hi there. I linked over from The Other Mother. I am also a foster parent and I have been DYING to connect with other foster parents online. Your’s is the very first fp blog that I have come across.
I read “Memiors of a Baby Stealer” by Mary Callahan years ago and I though she was a big fat liar. Then I re read it after I started in foster care and KNEW that she was telling the truth. Dealing with the state has been the hardest thing we have ever done. Ugh.
Seperating kids to make things harder for Mom? Nice. Really Nice. Honestly, are there caseworkers out there who give a crap about kids?
I’d love to chat sometime.

Greetings! Just stumbled on your blog and I love it! We are also proud parents of a child we adopted through foster care. Reading some of your latest posts sure takes me back. Then I started to twitch a little. Good luck with it all!!!!
I plan to check back! Also, if you get some time, I’ve also been blogging about our experience.
Here’s my site

Thanks and good luck!

Finally found another set of foster moms. My partner and I have been fostering since 2007 when we rec’d our foster son at 2 days old, We will hopefully be adopting him this month. We also have his sister who is now 8 months old, she’s been with us since 2 days old also. Love to be added to your contacts.

I’m eager to read more of your adventures. My family and I are just beginning to discuss becoming a foster family.
