The Problem With Kids’ Toys and Dating Apps

The two key drawings in this image are of a stickperson child that looks overwhelmed and upset, surrounded by many, messy, simply drawn toys on the floor around them. The second drawing is of multiple phone screens portraying options, swiping, trying other matches, and seeking other singles in what seems to be a variety of dating apps. These drawings are seen on overlapping scraps of coloured and textured paper scraps. Both images in this article use the same paper scraps. The top scraps with drawing on them are a rough textured white and a less rough cardstock in olive green. The scraps in behind are a pale wedgewood blue with pale mint green overlays like old wallpaper, and a rough textured bright forest green. The scraps are on top of black fake wood textured table surface, which is visible along the edges.
