Fearless Critic is a new kind of restaurant guide. Our ratings and reviews come from a panel of cheeky, brutally honest, discerning local food critics and chefs that you can really believe in. We find it hard to trust reviews that are paid for by restaurants or written by anonymous users—people who might be restaurant owners, or who might be that guy you know who only eats boneless, skinless chicken breast. We believe that an opinion publication should know who its critics are and be able to stand behind its words, and every word we publish is edited and fact-checked by paid food editors. We’re reader-supported, and we charge a few bucks for subscriptions, apps, and books so that we can maintain total independence from restaurants by not accepting ads.
