About False Modesty

False Modesty is a multiple award winning* art project concocted by Mia Tagg,  Anna Jacob, Tom Jacob and whoever else was around at the time.

Soon after the launch of False Modesty in February 2010, we were mentioned in the Irish Independent Day & Night Mag as a site of the week, which was lovely.

In case it isn’t obvious, our art is made by pasting clothing on to nude models in pornographic magazines. If you would like to have a go at making your own ‘dress-up porn’, please feel free to send it to us (falsemodestyblog@gmail.com) and we will post it on the blog if it’s any good! We highly recommend having a go, it’s surprisingly therapeutic.

In this over-sexed and under-dressed world, we would like to bring you the gift of modest dressing and cutting-edge fashion/food/cute animals. Or as Madonna put it ‘We wanna dress you up in our love’.

Thank you!

This is my favourite pic. And I like the “untrue” fact.

    God, her neck is horrible!

  3. Thanks Ben. The ‘over the shoulder’ glance only works on taut-necked, younger ladies unfortunately. At least we’ve put a nice power suit on her so you needn’t see any more!
