news and blabbering on evolution, atheism and religious-fundamentalism
About
The anti-evolution movement we experience today is downright unbelievable and unacceptable in the 21st century. In fact, it is simply dangerous. The topic of evolution vs. creationism is a reflection, a symptom, of reason and saneness vs. incredible ignorance and blind beliefs.
I am passionate about this topic. Using the power of blogging (thanks WordPress!), I sincerely wish to share any news and thoughts that I have, as well as to further educate myself on this topic. I also hope to raise the awareness of the danger of religious fundamentalism.

So who am I? I am just an average guy working in the software development industry. I first became passionate about this topic when I had a heated evolution v.s. creationism debate with my best friend then (a creationist) while studying at university… and it had a big effect on me (I am glad that my friend and I are still the closest…). Just like many young souls eager to win an on-going debate, I started to research on this topic, to this date. So here it is, a blog for me to share and learn with everyone out there.
🙂

-A Christian Evolutionist
A good choice for a blog. I’m betting on the atheists to come out ahead!
May the discourse be lively!
Nobody in their right mind believes that the world was created in six days. The statement is not to be taken literally but as a story handed down from generation to generation.
Let’s round up all the fundamentalists and send them to Iraq where they can do the only thing they know how to do, kill people who do not share their beliefs.
I have a right to say this, I was going to university in Waco Texas when that weird cult was led to suicide. All the govt. had to do was put David Koresh in jail for having sex with an underage child and that would have been the end of it.
I also lived in Tulsa OK. where I was going to tech college there (not when the bomb went off). The guy that did that was insane but so are the religious leaders that call that home.
This will only get worse as time goes on because of the advances in medicine. The insane moral minority will not win
but there will be a fight. Let all of them die because they refuse to use stem cells.
I still believe in God and I know (he, she or it) thinks all of this is nonsense. Scientists are getting more respect now with the global warming thing which is really good. I am still on the sidelines as far as that goes since I think the earth has been through far worse and survived than an increase in temperature of 2 or 3 degrees. Species die all the time and new ones better adapted take their place. BFD. I like veggies but I’m not going to stop eating meat because a cow farts too much. Actually I could get a better cut of meat grown in a petri dish ! Look Mom, no cholesterol. !!!
I know the bomb was in OK. City, not Tulsa, but there are crackpot religious people in Tulsa, too.
I’m from Belgium (like in “Europe” for those who failed high school) – when some of us found out that a significant part of the USA actually had a powerful anti-evolution movement (basically, we couldn’t care less about extremism in the USA), “downright unbelievable” would be an understatement.
For most Europeans, the US have slowly degraded into a society that exports and even glorifies ignorance and crackpot religion.
We watch it on TV, smile wearily and switch the channel.
US religious-fundamentalism is a tragedy that turned into a boring travesty (or should that be the other way round)
My heart goes out to all those who have to suffer its daily indoctrination..
Evolution rocks. Though US views are sucky right now. I blame the two K’s: Kentucky and Kansas mostly.
Erg, sorry. Hit send a sec to early. If you have the power to delete comments, you should delete my first one and this. Cheers!
You have our support in what you’ve chosen to campaign for! Please check out the evolution and creation categories on our blog:

Cool blog. I am very interested in the education implications on this topic. Keep up the good work!
Evolution in the science v religion debate is key. Your focus is spot-on. More stuff about similar topics in the United Kingdom based WASP (World Atheist Science People) https://waspofscience.blogspot.com/
stick to software. it pays better
🙂
When will you return?
You’re the dumberst atheist I’ve ever come across. Your writing is incredibly poor as well, loser.
