Allah (s.w.t)
ALLAH(s.w.t) answers our prayer at once, it is because He is testing our faith.
If He did not answer our prayer at once, it is because He is testing our patience.
If He did not answer our prayer at all it is because He has a better plan for Us.
Allah“s promises are yes and Amen! He is God not man, which explains why He can never fail, hold on, don“t be discouraged, your miracle is knocking at the door of your heart. A little more faith is what you need to see all your needs met.

Prayers may indeed go unanswered if:
1) They are made to other than Allah (Azza wa Jall)…say to a “pir” or “saint” for example…
2) The prayers are made with a lack of sincerity.
3) Praying for the wrong thing. Praying (making Dua) that the lead character in a Bollywood film gets married to the heroine at the end is clearly the wrong thing.
There are conditions that the scholars of Islam have highlighted for Dua to be accepted. Inshallah, they would be the best reference.

true enuff…with refernce to Hadith…the dua of the child who disobeys his/her parents his/her prayers are not answered…
one taking Haram…his/her dua goes unanswered…
