Welcome! I am a fifth-year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh, advised by Diane Litman. My research centers on Computational Argumentation and Text Summarization, with applications in legal and educational domains.
I received my M.Sc. from Cairo University (advisor: Mohsen Rashwan). I have held research internships at TikTok/ByteDance (SAMI) and Microsoft (ROAR).
I develop argument-aware generation and evaluation methods for long documents. My my work aims to build faithful, interpretable, and reliable NLP systems for high-stakes domains.
