Ryan and John Bergum arrived at UND with dreams of forging their own paths, but a shared passion for civil engineering brought them together on a unique project.

In her four years at UND, Carrie Carpenter has climbed the highest heights, literally and figuratively. Her degree in mechanical engineering led her to study robotics for NASA and a career climbing to the tops of wind turbines.

Cybersecurity major Julia Drewhurst was looking for a better college experience. She says transferring to UND gave her the chance to grow socially and professionally.

Transfer student Rebecca Seemann turned a passion for details and nature into chemical engineering degree tailored for protecting the environment, including an internship at a local paper mill.
