For full-time positions, we offer HSA and PPO health insurance with HSA or FSA options (Blue Cross Blue Shield), dental insurance (Delta Dental), vision insurance (EyeMed), short-term and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off is a crucial part of maintaining work and life balance. Our generous PTO plan accrues annually and begins with your first whole pay period. Eligible employees enjoy seven paid holidays and one floating holiday in addition to their regular PTO.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
We believe our diversity of backgrounds, gender identities, ethnicities, and perspectives enables us to provide optimal care for our clients and a collaborative work environment. By practicing radical inclusivity, we draw on the strengths of all our employees to create a company culture that values all people. Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Council leads organizational efforts to deepen this culture and create space for healing and thoughtful discourse.
Educational Opportunities
As a national leader in eating disorder treatment, we are committed to encouraging career growth and providing our staff with robust clinical education. That’s why we partner with the University of Minnesota Medical School and have a team dedicated to providing ongoing education with in-house continuing education credit opportunities through webinars and in-person events. We continuously work to develop new education programs like our upcoming Behavioral Health Technician certification program.
Are you in your first internship? Are you within hours of your licensure? We have on-the-job training to help you reach your career goals. New master’s degree therapists can accumulate hours by leading groups to earn full licensure. Learn more on our Professional Training page.
Our Core Values
At The Emily Program, we believe our success is measured by the talent, commitment, and vision of our people, the experience of those we serve, the quality and outcomes of our treatments, and decision making that is client centered and sustainable. To sustain those goals, we follow these core values:
- Passion: We are enthusiastic and focused on what we do to help change lives and help each other.
- Respect: We join clients and families on their journey, and we treat those we serve and each other with compassion and integrity.
- Excellence: We approach each client, challenge, and opportunity seeking to do our best.
- Commitment: We are dedicated to meeting each person where they are in their journey, delivering excellence in care for the whole journey, and supporting recovery for as many people as we can.
- Collaboration: We partner with each other, those we serve, and our communities to do good. We respect client and family empowerment and support their agency in determining their own path to recovery, even when their choices might not be ours.
- Creativity: We value empathy-enhancing diverse perspectives and learn from each other and those we serve.
Given the nature of the work we do in specifically treating eating disorders, applicants currently in treatment for an eating disorder, recently in recovery from an eating disorder, or in long term recovery from an eating disorder should strongly consider if they can sufficiently separate their own eating disorder struggles from those of our clients in order to effectively intervene with clients, and whether this environment is conducive to their overall wellbeing. Applicants with these histories are strongly encouraged to consult with loved ones and their health care professionals prior to applying.
