Emily Goodwin
About me
I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Stanford linguistics department, broadly interested in meaning. In my work, I use a combination of experimental and computational tools from psycholinguistics and NLP. I am advised by Robert Hawkins, Cory Shain, and Beth Levin; I have also been fortunate to collaborate with Judith Degen and Emily Morgan. Before coming to Stanford, I received a B.A and M.A. in the McGill linguistics department, where I was a member of the McQll Lab. In 2020 I was also a research intern at ElementAI (now ServiceNow), advised by Dzmitry Bahdanau.
