• Non-essential employees advised to telecommute on Tuesday

    Due to the winter storm impacting the region, all non-essential UB employees are again advised to telecommute where possible on Tuesday, Dec. 30.

    Employees who have received notice of their designation as Level 1 employees (formerly called essential employees) should report to work as scheduled on Tuesday or as otherwise directed by their supervisor.

    Note: During the storm, supervisors may need to reach out to additional employees if additional staffing is required.

    In addition, all activities and online winter session classes — which were already planned to be remote — will be held as scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 30.

    As previously announced, all winter session classes scheduled for today, Monday, Dec. 29, have been cancelled.

    Due to anticipated severe weather conditions across Western New York today, non-essential UB employees who are working on campus are advised to leave campus and complete their workday through telecommuting where possible.

    Employees who have received notice of their designation as Level 1 employees (formerly called essential employees) should report to work as scheduled or as otherwise directed by their supervisor. 

    In addition, UB has cancelled all classes and activities on all campuses for today, Dec. 29.
