My name is Effrosyni (Efi) Mavroudi. I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Johns Hopkins University advised by Prof. Rene Vidal. I received my Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in Athens, Greece. During my time there, I was fortunate to work with Prof. Petros Maragos.

My research interests lie in the broad areas of computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on deep learning for video understanding. I am conducting research on temporal action segmentation and complex event detection.
