Biography
A journey from the visible to the slightly invisible
Emanuela Lucaci is a Swiss visual artist of Romanian origin whose work explores movement, blur, and the hidden dimensions of the human condition. Based on the shores of Lake Geneva, she blends influences from philosophy, spirituality, psychoanalysis, and high-energy physics to create a unified, thought-provoking vision of human experience. Trained in painting in Transylvania, she has exhibited internationally since 1999, with notable projects including a solo show inaugurated by Mary Robinson, a commission from UNICEF New York, and a large-scale installation for the ALICE experiment at CERN, where she was artist-in-residence. Her practice extends beyond visual art into film and creative collaboration, reflecting a deep commitment to exploring and sharing the creative process.
