A quick snapshot:  I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, teacher and reluctant domestic engineer.

I live in the south of England and have recently returned from a two year spell in southern California.  Originally I come from Scotland although I did stop off in Qatar, where I lived and worked for a while.

When I grow up I would like to be a successful blogger with more than 2 regular readers to whom I am not related!

I have achieved my aim of more than 2 regular readers who are not members of my family!  Hooray!

Now I need to think of another ambition…   🙂

I’m still trying to think of that other ambition, but living somewhere warm and sunny for a few years might have been it, and I have achieved that recently!
