Narrative or Dialouge: What do you find easiest to write?

Though I write short stories and novels as well, my main writing base is comics. I’m used to reading and writing comics. In other words I am used to write straight dialouge, and nothing but dialouge. I can write dialouge for hours on end. Have characters chatting away, verbalizing everything that they are seeing, hearing, doing, and thinking.

Narrative on the other hand… ick! I get stuck on narratives. I can write them, sure, but I’d rather stick to writing pure dialouge, cause it’s so much easier for me to get inside my characters heads and write everything that’s going on inside there.

The "Cook an Egg" Dare.

People are talking about the “cook an egg” dare. I missed that one some how. Well, it’s added to my list of dares to use, now.

Well, I’ve
finished several dares now. The one I’m most pleased with, however, is the famed
‘cooking an egg’ dare. I managed to get more than 1000 words out of it, too.
=)
What is this famous cooking an egg dare? Do you just have someone in your novel cook an egg? That might be a really good idea….hmmm…..
I’d like to know too. i had not seen this one, but I also didn’t read all 800+ posts of dares either. Weird though. Last year in NaNo I was stuck for something to write, and I was hungry and for some reason want some fried eggs, so I wrote a paragraph about my main character cooking fried eggs. It totally didn’t go with the rest of the story but I left it in anyways, cause I thought it was funny reading it… the story is moving along, and than all of a sudden he gets up and goes to cook an egg… it had a sureal feel to it. Funny, I didn’t know there was such a dare and I went and did it anyways!

This year, I’ve got a family that raises chickens (a result of the chicken dare, I took) so, it would be perfectly logical for me to add a “cook an egg” dare.
