My inspiration

For my project today, I’ve used a floral cluster and paired it with embossed circles in the background on black cardstock. I’ve used Metallic Watercolours in similar shades as the embossing powders, to keep it a metallic look through and through.

Here’s a look at the cards I’ve Created:

For the above card I’ve used the Stencil Art Strong Oak Stencil and the Add On Die Bundle. I’ve used Tropical Tango, Citrus Punch, Shades of Purple, Bubblegum Dreams and Whispering Woodlands Ink Family for the ink blending.

For the second card, I’ve used the CYLProject Kit Flower Arch for the florals. I’ve paired it with Stencil 4 from the Patterned Petals Stencil Set along with Pearl Shimmer Relief Paste. I’ve used the Red Sunset, Shades of Purple and Northern Shore Ink Families for all the Ink Blending.

Chromatic Harmony

Color always excites me. Being able to pick the right colours, and creating harmonious creations is something I hold a passion for.

When I teach a class, I’m always looking to inspire you all with unique colour combinations, something you’d love to experiment and explore. Like in the card above, it’s all about the perfect colour balance. Check video tutorial here.

Spellbinders October Club

Hello there! Today I’m showcasing tons of inspiration using some of the Spellbinders Club Releases for October.

This release has some adorable Holiday Inspired products.

Here’s a look at the cards club wise.

The Stencil Club of the Month- Baubles & Festive Background

This month we have two patterns in the stencils- Baubles and a Sweater Pattern. For this card I chose an Aqua- Pink Palette and clubbed it with the Stamp of the month.

Large Die of the Month Club- Cozy Toes Slippers

This club comes with the most adorable dies with Cozy Slippers. I used the Reindeer and for the design on the comfy pants, I used the Embossing Folder of the month.

Clear Stamp & Coordinating Die of the Month Club- Holiday Besties

I’ve used the images across several of my cards. Heres one with the Sweater pattern stencil.

Small Die of the Month Club- Festive Friends

This is another set of adorable characters! I paired the dies with an ombre Distress Ink Background!

Spellbinders September Club

Hello there! Today I’m showcasing tons of inspiration using some of the Spellbinders Club Releases for September.

It’s officially Fall in the Crafty World! And this release has products for everyone’s liking. Here’s a look at the cards club wise.

The Stencil Club of the Month- Colorful Pumpkins

I kept my cards simple, in the sense of keeping the pattern as my focal, playing with coloured cardstock mats and stamped the sentiment on Vellum. This pattern will look great in a variety of colour combinations.

Large Die of the Month Club- Picture Perfect Autumn

For the first card, I have used the dies to create a beautiful day scenic card! I have used Altenew Inks and Crafty Necessities Colored Cardstock.

For the Second Card I used the 3D Embossing folder as the Background with the Sunflowers from the Die set.

Clear Stamp & Coordinating Die of the Month Club- Autumn Wishes

I enjoyed watercoloring this image with the Altenew Woodless Color Pencils.

Small Die of the Month Club- Autumn Scarecrow

When I saw the small Pumpkins and Autumn Leaves, I just had to create a wreath. I used the Lindys Autumn Leaves Sprays to color the elements.

For the Second Card, I used the 3 D Embossing Folder for the background, and colored cardstock, and my Lindy’s colored pumpkins to put together the scene.

Apart from the two cards I shared earlier, I created this one in traditional orange, keeping the background a focal with a large sentiment.

For this one I used the folder with the clear stamp for a simple Autumn Card.

Pretty Peonies

Today I’m sharing a card with bright colours and a coloured background! My love for colour, helps me push the boundaries and explore a variety of combinations.

Here’s a look at the card:

For this card, I’m playing with the Billowing Peonies stamp set and coordinated stencils for a colourful peony cluster. I absolutely love using bold and vibrant colours in my cards! I also love exploring a variety of colour palettes, and combing several colours to create depth when I create. Inks are one of my favourite mediums to play with. I enjoy blending ink colours to achieve new shades as depth.

Celebration Card

For my project, I decided to create a card with the spirit of celebrating this huge and amazing release! I’ve used the new Peruvian Gold Foil to add accents to my card. I’ve used the Million Dollar Mixed Media Duo, for that rich gold embossing, and Silver Glass texture. I paired it up with the classic Primary Ebony and Midnight, making this a luxurious card! One can never go wrong with Black, White and Gold! The balloons stamp and dies are all from Alex Syberia Designs.

For my project, I have used the New Citrus Quad- all the four embossing powders! I’ve used them for the die cut layers, to create a shimmery dimensional flower. I used the Diamond Confetti Stencil from WOW to anchor my beautiful floral cluster. I have used Altenew Die and Sentiment Stamp.
