the pictures are in random order. this is intentional. and they even take (quite) some time to load, so thanks a lot for still being here ;)

Hallo XXX,
Stark. Weiter so und viele Grüße aus Köln,
Markus
You got a great eye for the minimalistic wonders of visuals, composition, lines and color. Very amazing work.
hi sanne, thank you very much for your very encouraging comment. ich habe mich sehr darueber gefreut!
This is a great inspiration…just what I’m trying to do! I love your blog!
thanks so much! you’ve got a lot of interesting stuff on your blog, too. i’ll follow! ;)
Thought I’d take a wander over to your blog. Wow. such amazing posts. Keep it up! :D
i’ll try! thanks for stopping by and for your friendly comment.
Hey! Thanks for liking the post “Geometry and Spaces” on my blog, your pictures are pretty amazing, I love your vision of space and framing!
merci beaucoup, lucie! thank you for taking the time to comment! much appreciated. just as a side note: when i click on your name i get taken to your becomingseattleite blog. so i was slightly confused at first ;)
Checked out the gallery today now that the link is working again. You have some excellent shots that turn ordinary everyday objects/scenes into something quite extraordinary. Keep up the good work.
thank you so much. i’ll try my best!
Tolle Bilder – love them!
unbglaublich coole bilder dabei. sehr stimmungsvoll :)
vielen vielen dank! freut mich, wenn’s gefaellt.
Best gallery I’ve seen so far! Thanks a lot for getting me through a sleepless night :) Cheers!
wow, thanks so much. that made my day! and i hope you had a some sleep yet! thanks for all your other comments. unfortunately i can’t answer them due to some not too transparent wordpress restrictions…
It’s OK, Peter. You made my night; I made your day, what more can we do… :D
;)
I am in awe of your ability to take an every day scene and capture it in part or at the blink of an eye, out the corner of your spectrum, and freeze it in the flash of the shutter. AMAZING WORK!! I am an instant fan!
wow, that’s so nice! thanks a lot for your kind words and for taking the time to comment and browse through my stuff.
I really enjoy the composition and subject of your photographs :] seeing the pictures of Berlin really takes me back there. thanks!
All of your work is fantastic and very diverse. You have a beautiful, malleable style.
Thank you so much! That made my day ;)
Anytime! You deserve it :)
nice chaotic flow of visions
glad you like it :)
will you make an artshow?
i’m thinking of a show sometimes but the ‘art’ thing scares me a bit…
why? :)
beeindruckend! und eine Menge toller Eindrücke!
vielen lieben dank! freut mich sehr, wenn’s gefällt.
Volfgang Tillmanns is one of my favorite photographers and he is also “documenting the obvious”, I felt the same beautiful and strong feeling from your works as well. Although – they are different, because they are yours! Joy for the eye and heart. I’m glad WP Discovered you, so I could discover you too :) Best wishes!
oh wow, that is such a big compliment, i just fully blushed! thanks a lot for your friendly comment, you made my day!
best wishes for you!
peter
Really, really beautiful colors, compositions, great!
thanks a lot again! :)
i’m really glad you like them.
Beautiful images, I really should take out my SLR and stop using my iPhone. Thanks for the inspiration.
thanks so much! i’m really happy to hear that this blog is inspiring to some of its readers. that’s really nice to know :)
the iphone is a quite capable camera i think but i also think any dslr will blow it out of the water qualitywise. of course a dslr lacks a lot to be desired in the portability department… i really don’t want to do ads here but i’m really happy with the micro four thirds system which strikes a balance between size and quality that is close to perfect :)
most of my shots shown here are taken with my olympus e-p5 and i have it practically always with me. i love it ;-)
It’s a challenge trying to get a good shit with an apple iPhone or a Go Pro Hero 4, but portability and my lifestyle is what it’s all about by the sea, bit expensive for a mermaid paying for underwater housings on any slr. Have a great year I look forward to seeing more :)
Excellent photography!
thank you so much!
motive. fotografische umsetzung. bildverabeitung.
wunderbar.
again and again.
so issett.
peter
lieben gruss,
peter
Your photographs capture what really makes a city a city — some show the passage of time, some the details on the streets and some encapsulate movements or activities by people. I love how these photos have a poetic and atmospheric quality that defines a ‘place’, but not only an ‘area’. (If that makes any sense)
It is a very nice blog! 😉
oh, wow! thank you for your beautiful comment. that made my day! i think the place vs. area opposition makes a lot of sense and i like it a lot!
thanks again!
peter
I am pretty new to photography and your pictures are a great inspiration! Thanks for your sharing!
Thanks a lot, Caio! I’m glad if this blog can be of any assistance! Enjoy your way into photography :-)
