Meet Chloe...
...she is a boxer bloodhound mix just adopted in to her forever family! Her new family love her to pieces already and at only 4 months old, that bond and pup will grow with leaps and bounds. She has quite the extended family too and she has been making a few rounds as she learns some social skills. You can tell she is already enamoured with one of the youngest family members...

I know everyone who reads this blog is a true dog lover. They value their buddies as part of their families. I do as well. I so enjoy the companionship of my hounds and truly never take for granted the times that they share with us. So I thought this month maybe we could feature how you met your buddy. 2014, a time to start again. HoneyDew, Sampson and I thought this would be the perfect time to celebrate dogs everywhere, and what a better way then to start this blog up again. So that being said, this Thursday will be the first of 2014 Dogs on Thursday!

This blog was started back in 2007 by Paula and her Basset Hound Elise. I was asked back in August '09 if I would consider writing a post once a month with some other dog lovers. I have enjoyed helping to post here and to read other blogs that have linked in. I would also have to say I have learned a lot from all of you on dog ownership and care, gottten chuckles from the stories and incidents, cried when some of my favorites have crossed over the rainbow bridge.
For the last little while I have helped this blog limp along. I am now wondering if this is even a page anyone is interested in or reads anymore at this point.
So I am hoping that if you are interested in seeing this blog continue, please let me know. If you are interested in contributing to blog posts, please let me know that too.
