I just discovered your blog — excellent! Great reading and the accompanying visuals are well chosen. Thanks for resolving a few questions I had about the “Sun Valley Serenade/Orchestra Wives” recordings.
Hello Dave…
Just a quick note to, well…..thank you for all that you’ve done. My friend, you are definitely the “gold standard” among vintage pop music bloggers. But, I think what you’ve done here goes way beyond that. We’ve had accidental chats among the Glenn Miller Archives Yahoo group, and I’ve enjoyed them….far to few. Aside from Ed Polic, you’re one of the most encyclopedic–and passionate–Miller scholars I’ve ever run across. With best regards always, David Fletcher.
