DiFACTO has integrated robots for inter-press transfer, reduced cycle time by re-layouting and adding output conveyors, engineered end-of-line pallet racking systems, co-developed with a global automotive OEM a unique robot-adjustable tooling system to reduce the number of gripping tools (and thereby the storage/logistics of the tools).

Quality Assurance:
Integrated Seam Tracking: DIFACTO integrates welding robots with touch sensing, through-arc seam tracking, and laser tracking technologies to ensure consistent weld beads even when part repeatability cannot be assured (Please note: It is still important to have close to zero gaps in joints to be welded by robots).
Off-Line Programming: DiFACTO works with StruCIM – our partner for robotic welding and cutting offline programming software. StruCIM enables welding programs to be generated directly from CAD models, thereby ensuring high quality, error free welding with minimum equipment downtime during model changeover.
