Overall i found this experiment interesting, as i thought that one mentos will have a massive impact on the coke. At the start i was going to investigate 'How do substances in soil affect plant growth (e.g. detergent, salt, fertiliser, sugar)?". But i decided to coke and mentos , because i wanted to see if it really did have a effect on the physical change of coke. As a pratice with my experiement, i noticed that leaving the bottle uncaped for more than 10seconds, the fountain wont go as high. This is because the gas enclosed of the coke escapes.

Science assessment
Today March 18th, i chose a investigation to research, and to study further on, diet coke and mentos. The title of my investigation is, does the amount of mentos effect the height of the coke

Experiment
Yesterday i started my science experiment. I tested weather the amount of mentos affects the height of the fountain. I came to the conclusion that my results supported my hypothesis. The troubles i came across where, human estimation, as it wasnt accurate and we had to go from our estimate.
