  On the night of September 7–8, 2025, the skies over Tokyo revealed a breathtaking celestial performance, a total lunar eclipse, often called the Blood Moon. Equipped with my Canon EOS R6, I set out to document this rare phenomenon step by step.   The series of images above shows the Moon slowly slipping into Earth’s shadow. At first, it shone in its usual brilliance, glowing white against the night sky. Last week, just before my birthday, I went to Odaiba Beach again. Last year I had visited there on my birthday, and the memory of that sunset had stayed with me ever since. I have always loved watching the sun sink over the water, painting the sky with warm, vivid colors. This time the sky was a brilliant orange, glowing softly over the city and the sea.
