PREVIOUS EVENTS
Have included an ecumenical party, on St Patrick’s day, in St Kentigern’s church, Race Nights and a Ceilidh in the Cathedral Hall, the “Launch” Ceilidh at the Corn Exchange, a Fashion Show put on by the senior pupils at St Thomas of Aquin’s school, and a Ceilidh in St Columba’s, Dunfermline.
FUTURE EVENTS
A Salsa night is planned for the Cathedral Hall on Friday, 29 October.
7.30 – 11pm, tickets £10 /£7.50 concession – drinks and tapas available to purchase on the night. Tickets available from the Cathedral and Cafe Camino from 30th September.
A Ceilidh on Friday, 26 November, in the Cathedral Hall. Details for the Ceilidh will be posted nearer the time.
“GRANDDAD’S MAD MUNRO MARATHON”
Friday 12 November, 7.30 pm, St Mary’s RC Cathedral Hall
Thursday 18 November, 7.30pm, St Aloysius College, Glasgow
Thursday 25 November, 7.30pm, St Thomas of Aquin’s High School, Edinburgh.
This evening of music, pictures and TV news film, will tell the story of Gerry’s record setting climb of all 283 Munros in 88 days. A journey of 1,191 miles, climbing 438,000 feet and including 15 hour days, hurricane force winds and severe winter conditions in mid May! Gerry will also talk about his motivation for doing the walk: his close friendship with Fr David, his admiration for the work of L’Arche and the projects in Edinburgh and Kenya that Fr David’s Fund is supporting.
Entry FREE, but there will be a collection for the “David Gemmell Living Memorial Fund”.
