The purpose of this website is to chronicle my personal progress as a developing historian through investigating the history of education in Canada.

The posts included are intended to be reflective in nature. They represent both my understanding of sources as well as personal observations on my own evolution as a historian.

Lastly, this website will serve as a digital time capsule. It is a snapshot of my skill set as a historical investigator. In the future I plan to use this archive to reflect on the ways in which I have developed my research and critical thinking skills. At the same time, this collection may subsequently reveal areas of stagnation, allowing me to reflect and improve on my own practice as a researcher.
