How long has it been? Three years? I can’t believe I haven’t used the word Philosophizing in such a long time, it’s my favorite word, aside from sarcasm, but still… three years!
So, what’s changed since I was a fifteen year old boy? Quite a bit actually…
first of all, I’m eighteen! That’s right, pretty soon I’ll be living on my own, driving, working, and more scared than I’ve ever been.
I’m a thespian now (Ooh! Thespian is my new favorite word, I forgot, so much to catch up on!), Get used to that word, I make jokes about it, a lot.
I have broadened my musical horizons to encompass many more genres, so you’ll probably hear about that also.
I’m more geeky than I used to be, and it will show, a lot.
Records, vinyl, platters, what ever you want to call them, I collect them.
I think that’s most of the important stuff, we’ll play it by ear for now.
This is the line, past this line, I make some sense. ______________________________________
I really wanted to delete this blog, to have a fresh start, but I though that I would look back, and wish that I could see what my fifteen year old brain was thinking, and then laugh about how silly it is, and how seriously I really took myself, I still take myself too seriously, but future me will get a laugh out of this too.
“laugh it up fuzzball.”
I don’t know what you can expect in the future, but I can tell you that it will be legen- wait for it! (and I hope you like waiting)
until next time…
Can everyone agree that there are different kinds of people, such as, Goth, Emo, or Hipsters. What they try to do, is be different. They try to be different, by piercing their ear to try to be different, by getting a Mohawk and dying it green JUST to be different.
I am not condemning people who do these things. I am saying that I do not think that is ME. Nor do I think it is right for me.
I believe in God. I’m a Christian. I (Personally), think that it is not right for me to pierce my ear, or other things that I am not going to mention. That is my conviction.
Hipsters are a good example. If their is an obscure kind of music, they listen to be different. If that kind of music becomes popular, they stop liking it because everyone likes it. I think that is wrong.
I like Frank Sinatra, hats, and Big Band Music. If everyone started to listen to big band, or Frank Sinatra. Or started wearing Fedoras, I would love it! I like RC cola
. If Pepsi went out of business, (Sorry Pepsi fans. Coke is my second favorite
) and RC Cola
took it’s place, I would not go searching for another brand.
Most of my friends listen to things I have never heard of, it discourages me sometimes, but it also gives us more to talk about.
So, what I think I am trying to say is this: do not walk when the light is red just because no one else is walking. (plus you could get hit.)
For those who do not understand what that was supposed to mean: Do not be different for the sole purpose of being different. Do it because it is right. (Or do not do it because it is wrong.)
I think I need to work out what I think, before I post. What do you think?
I may write a second post on the subject so keep your eye’s peeled.
Tell me what you think about that, please comment
]]>Einstein’s Intelligence Quiz
Einstein wrote this quiz last century. He said that 98% of the people in the world cannot solve the quiz.
- There are 5 houses in 5 different colors
- In each house lives a person with a different nationality
- These 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet
- No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.
Here’s the question: Who owns the fish?
- The Brit lives in a red house
- The Swede keeps dogs as pets
- The Dane drinks tea
- The green house is on the left of the white house
- The green house owner drinks coffee
- The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
- The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
- The man living in the house right in the middle drinks milk
- The Norwegian lives in the first house
- The man who smokes Blend lives next door to the one who keeps cats.
- The man who keeps horses lives next door to the man who smokes Dunhill
- The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer
- The German smokes Prince
- The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
- The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water
With these 15 clues the problem is solvable.
Now, if your going to do the quiz I suggest you get a piece of paper, section off five squares across, and four squares down. In the top row of squares, write in the nationality. In the second row, write the beverages. In the third row, write the cigars. In the fourth row, write the pets. Read through the list and cross out the items that do not belong. Now you will have to read through the list several times and it may take a few pieces of paper; but it’s nice to know that you are in the two percent that can do it.
Spoiler alert!!! The Answer is directly below. Don’t you dare click on the ‘Read More’ button! Answer below.
Please comment and tell me your answer and how long it took.
The answer is here!!!
Well, actually it’s here.
Well, there it is, like I said, comment, tell me how long it took, and tell me what your answer was.
Bye!!!
]]>Christians and other religions believe that man has a sin nature, that we are not going to turn into beams of light and float around the galaxy like a better version of Q from ‘Star Trek’ . Not that his whole entire race was really better. In fact, I would say that the race Q was worse than what we are now. Anyway, we also believe in a life after death, evolutionists do not. We believe that there is a god, they do not. A good book to read about that subject is a book called ‘A Conflict Of Visions’ by Thomas Sowell. It’s hard to keep interested in since it was written to big corporation rich people. (I don’t remember the actual term but that was basically it.) The book goes into the two different types of world views, those being the constrained and the unconstrained visions. The constrained is the christian world view and the unconstrained is atheistic.
You may recall that the American Revolution was based on a constrained vision, they wanted less power for those with power. Like the saying goes, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. When you have a king or emperor or even a president, there’s no way to stop human nature, whether you think that human nature is good or bad is up to you. I leave you with these answers of mine.
So I believe that humans:
- Have a sin nature.
- Are not getting better.
- Did not, are not, and will never evolve.
- Are not related to monkeys.
Leave a comment, or not. It’s your choice, but please do something.

this is a snapshot from the movie Groundhog day. The groundhog is the one driving by the way
12:00: ate lunch, and went out front to sit and watch the butterflies on our butterfly bush. You should see them. It’s amazing being able to just sit
and watch them fly around, I’ll try putting some pictures up here so bear with me. The butterfly bushes are great for attracting butterflies, it is important what color you get because the white kind attract just monarchs while the purple ones attract all kinds.
Here goes the pictures
Wow, that turned out very nice, this particular butterfly is what you call a swallowtail butterfly; It’s called that because the color’s, stripes, and the swallow like tail. let’s try another.
That is a black swallowtail butterfly, it’s been though quite a bit as you can see.
Two Eastern Tiger Swallowtails right next to each other.
This weird thing is a Hummingbird moth, I suppose it looks like a hummingbird, I would have called it a lobster moth but apparently that name already taken. Why would you call it a lobster moth? I hear you ask, and the reason is,
it looks like a lobster. If you right-click on the picture and open it in a new tab you can really see it better. Well , that’s my day, nothing happened and yet it was interesting.
Until next time, Bye!

]]>So as I listen to this song, my dad is eating all of the green Apple Jacks
out of the container; I know, it’s weird, but hey, thats my dad.
Spring and Summer Allergies
- Pollen from every kind of grass, especially Timothy Grass.
- Pollen from every kind of trees, especially Oak tree’s. That’s all we have in our backyard, other than the three Dogwood Trees.
- Pollen from every kind of flower, which is really bad because I like flowers.
Fall and winter Allergies
- Water mold, flood mold. Those are actually year round but I had to put them somewhere.
Year Round Allergies.
- The inside of a Chicken.
- The outside of a Cat. That means I can have a Chicken as a pet and eat the Cat. Yum.
- Dust.
- I suppose most of them are year round.
I’m sure that some of you are wondering why I bother going on, continuing to live with this. Some of you may be saying to yourself, “Deal with it!” Others may be saying it can’t be that bad. The truth is, I’ve asked myself all of those questions at some point in time and I came up with an answer that is so amazing that it deserves to be quoted. Here it goes.
“I am more blessed than others in the way that I can’t stop and smell the roses without having my nose start running. I will go through life with allergies, and will probably die with them, but when I get to heaven I won’t have anything to stop me from smelling them all day. I’ll sit there in my mansion’s giant back yard and walk through my garden just watching the butterflies, smelling my flowers, and praising the Lord at how beautiful everything is. So, if you go to Heaven and see a man running around asking everyone if they have smelled these flowers you will know it’s me.”
So, whether you have Allergies or are one of those poor people who are able to smell everything already, I hope you can see that I am blessed by my Allergies.
Bye!… Achoo!
]]>Frank Sinatra: New York, My way, Chicago, Something Stupid, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Mack the Knife, I get a kick Out of you, Moon River, What Now My Love, For Once in my Life, Summer Wind, They can’t take that Away From Me, My kind of Town, Fly Me to the Moon, The best is yet to Come, Come Fly with Me, (One of My favorites of all) That’s Life, Ring-a-Ding-Ding, Coffee Song, and For Once in My Life.
Glenn Miller: Chattanooga Choo Choo, In the Mood, American Patrol, and Pennsylvania 65000
And now for the more modern songs
I like A-ha’s version of Crying in the rain, I don’t watch the video, it’s just weird.
