My classmate, Celeste is getting married so she has been sharing with me, the venue that she has source... OMg,,, those 'hot spot' required at least 6-12 mths of bOOking. Read up bridal forum too, (kiasu couple), boOKed their venue for next yr ROM already.. WOowwwww

On the other hand, not really of the kiasu element, you juz wanna to plan slow n make sure things are smoothly prepared and arranged.

Under the influence of Celeste, i also emailed lotas restaurant n hotels. The one Des & Rene liked for ROM..errmm... is kinda ex - Amara Sanctuary Resort

Des is busy lately, completing his last lap in SMU. Thereafter, we will check out the place ourself, armed with the quotation that i hav on hand..

My mum is so cute, she hav already disapproved changi village hotel... wAhaahaa... she too loved Amara. But well, there's still lotas lovely place yet to explore :)

Anyway, is all abt money... everyting is so ex now.

No updates lately.... been fighting fire for dad's biz.

I always have a tot of giving it up whenever i met w hurdles... Des said tat, this is not the right way n not wat a daughter should do.. haha. (I'm juz too coward :p)

How i wished am juz an employee... work 9-5pm, juz work blindly, take pay at end of the mth w/o killing so many braincells.

I enjoyed my wkend the most cos i'm out of the fighting ring... Des companion blows everyting away n the time with him always fly so quickly...

Btw, we won a wedding photoshot worth $2k... but only hav 3 photos of - 1 x 36' & 2 x 18'... so juz use the pkg for ROM...
My friend said, didnt see couples put up photoshot during ROM.. haha, we are the unique ones! Tks to the voucher.... shall use it for fun then.

Not so looking forward to CNY tis yr cos of the current economic downturn. Have to curb spending. Initially tot that CNY Orders will help to lessen the money woes yet it lessen abit only as this yr, alot of my customer shrank their orders.

I told my mum that let's make all the CNY Cookies n dun buy any. So tis yr, we hav cornflakes, almond, butter cookies. Not forgetting pineapple tarts and love letters. I always have to make 2nd batches cos my bro already started eating n complaining is not enough for him..

Instead of ordering cakes for my biz customer, tis year, i baked it. Hahha... just trying to save money and cut some cost. This yr will be a tough yr ahead.

Then, Des may hav difficulties getting a job after he graduate. I somehow worried as if we managed to get the CCK 4 roOM house then we mayb financially tight as there might be enough for renovation. But still, Des wana go ahead w it cos we still hav 3 yrs to save up for renovation.

1st tot tat came to my mind was, this guy is sooo MCP.

Yet other the hand, i love to open the door for Des.

Why?

Cos i finally get to see him after long day @ work.. he's back safe n sound. And of course, his smile :)

How do i nOe Des is back? He would always call me whenever he's reaching the carpark and say 'dar dar open door open door'. Usually i would go to the kitchen to heat up the dinner for him and thereafter to the door. I do not feel is MCP.. is more like a little kid waiting for her toys frm her parents.. haha

Maybe just to see each other faster by tat few secs? :P

I would ask him, 'are you tired and how's ur day' sometimes, he get sooo carried away sharing w me his day that i gota paused him n usher him to bathe. Haha... little boy ya..

Usually we will go home together so tis only happens once in a while... whenever he hav late meetings.

Weather in beijing is soo cold.. -5 degree today.. and -13 in tangshan. Luckily his coat n timberland shoes kept him warm..

Tmr and mOn, i will be making blueberry crumbles muffin / choco chip coOKies / melting moments. B4 des is back, i shall bake his fav cheesecake.. Thereafter, i will baked a turkey w my mum n ah yi,, Oh ya, the stuffing is sooo yummy tat i can be eaten as sausage as well.. I will not buy anymore sausages frm cold storage or jason's anymore... this home-made sausage is 100 Times nicer.. really.. i cant wait to make it for Des. Is even shiok when eaten w cranberry marmalade. Jus went to NTUC,,, a small turkey is $21, bigger turkey is $60-$70.. so ex rite.. but is definately worth the efforts :)
