I will be ending my career at UW-Superior and moving back to Minnesota to my property in Lake George. I plan to continue working as it is too soon to retire and I have more to do with where ever my career path takes me.
I’m taking the month of August to travel, and to help my family with settling my uncle estate up in my hometown of Warroad. I plan to become more active in my media production work, artwork, and my other creative pursuits as I make this transition. Watch for updates to this site and more information on the projects that I’m working on as I go forward.

The trees are showing little sign of leaf eruption, however the grass has greened up and is growing with all the rain.
I’ve restarted my work on completing a masters degree this year and completed 2 courses during the spring term. I’m currently working on a Masters of Science, Education Instruction degree through an online program offered by the University of Wisconsin – Superior. This week marks the start of the first summer session and I’m enrolled in another 7 week course for this term, on completing the course I will be half way to completion of my masters degree. I was fortunate to be able to transfer in some of my UND grad credits into the program and I’m already scheduled for 2 additional classes for Fall semester.

I haven’t posted a blog for a long time, but since I have made some changes in my life here I am posting a blog. I’m on day 1 of week 3 at my new job at UW-Superior. Things are going well so far, yeah!
I have moved to Superior WI, and now live in a 2 bedroom apartment with a sparse collection of furniture. So as a recap of my last 1/2 year… was cut from my teaching job, worked on my house and finding a new job for the past 6 months, went through seeing my last child graduate from High School do become an official empty nester. The thing is I moved the nest. Next is to sell my 100 year old home in Crookston. more up dates to come!
