I used to be a scaredy dog about snow cause in the city it had burning salty stuff that got between my paws. But not here. I love the snow and the dirt and all the smelly poop around here. I'm a mountain doggie now. Arrow too-- but he's always been real outdoorsy.

Deefor wrote that a few years ago. He loved being a mountain doggie. But on August 21, 2019, Deefor crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

What we've been up to

I used to blog a lot and then I stopped for a long time. I blame my mom. Some of my old blogger friends are gone and I need to find some new ones.

We are still doing the same old stuff.

Getting visits from family

Taking walks in the mountains.

Walks in the City. He likes to bark a lot and I bark back.

Going out on the deck to bark at stuff.

And mostly sleeping.

Mountain Walkie

We had a real nice walkie.

We used to walk loose here, like most of the other doggies. Of course it's Arrow's fault we don't. He runs off too much and won't come back. He likes to hunt little animals even if he can't catch them

The path is by a lake. The lake is frozen and people were walking their doggies on it!

Arrow was happy to get a roll in the snow.

I'm not leaving.

Since this walkie we got more snow!

CHICKENS!

We were outside and Arrow saw something strange in the yard behind our house.

It was a chicken! A white chicken looking at us.

And there was another. A friendly brown one that came over to see us. I'm more interested in the yummy compost. Very exciting stuff for Denver.

Then we said goodbye and went for a ride to the desert doggie park.

After we have a drink and head home for breakfast. Maybe a little chicken with out kibble.....

Small Dog Meet-Up

We went to a small dog meet-up yesterday. It was mostly gangsta chihuahuas terrorizing bigger small doggies. The smaller ones were really mean.

We're in the back. Arrow, in his blue thing, is looking for someone to hump and I'm in the corner waiting to go home. I need a nap.

Happy 2013

I hope all of my old blogging pals are having a pawsome 2013. I haven't been blogging mostly out of laziness. Mostly human laziness.

Arrow has a new favorite chair. It's his camouflage chair. (Can you find him?)

He's very brave to jump on it cause it moves around. I only sit on it when there's a stable lap to jump on.

I'm more of a couch puppy. Knitting needles are so comfortable.

Taking Time to Smell the Flowers-- And pee on them!

Some places we hike have lots of smelly wild flowers this time of year. And we water them.

They keep us on the leashes like slaves. It's cause of Arrow. Only the more normal doggies walk free and don't go crazy. (I hate you labs and goldens and especially the really sane border collies-- not always, just hiking.)
